Summary

In June 2026 U.S. agencies published 651 recall records that GovInfoNow tracks: 574 from FDA, 44 from CPSC, 29 from NHTSA and 4 from USDA FSIS.

That total is up 11% from May 2026 (586), and up 36% from June 2025 (478).

Medical devices made up the largest share (283, 43%).

Sorting each record by the reason the agency gave, the most common hazards were labeling, dosing or quality defects (110), falls, cuts and other injuries (60) and contamination, sterility or manufacturing (CGMP) (58).

Of the 601 recalls our plain-English summaries have rated so far, 72 (12%) were rated “stop using now”.

Albertsons had the most records (121). FDA files one record per product, so one recall event can account for many of these.
