Summary

In November 2025 U.S. agencies published 513 recall records that GovInfoNow tracks: 422 from FDA, 40 from CPSC, 50 from NHTSA and 1 from USDA FSIS.

That total is down 32% from October 2025 (754), and up 13% from November 2024 (455).

Medical devices made up the largest share (272, 53%).

Sorting each record by the reason the agency gave, the most common hazards were contamination, sterility or manufacturing (CGMP) (82), labeling, dosing or quality defects (64) and vehicle crash risk (36).

Of the 433 recalls our plain-English summaries have rated so far, 89 (21%) were rated “stop using now”.

Medline had the most records (41). FDA files one record per product, so one recall event can account for many of these.

Among vehicles, Ford had the most NHTSA recall campaigns (7).
