- Prime Line Distributors, Inc. and Ferrarini USA, Inc. Recall Imported Ready-To-Eat Pork Guanciale Products Due to Possible Listeria Contamination
USDA recalls 1,513 pounds of imported ready-to-eat pork guanciale products that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Products with lot number 263311US and best by date 05.16.27 should be thrown away or returned.
What to do if you have a recalled product
- Don’t eat it, even if it looks and smells fine — Listeria and Salmonella don’t change how food looks.
- Check the lot code, UPC and dates on the package against the recall notice; only those lots are affected.
- Return it for a refund or throw it away in a sealed bag, then wash surfaces it touched.
- Feel unwell? Call your doctor and mention the recall, especially if you’re pregnant, older or immunocompromised.
