- El Eden Import Distributor Corp Recalls Ineligible Pork Cracklings Products Imported from The Republic of Colombia
USDA recalls 264 pounds of De Todito pork cracklings from Colombia, ineligible for US import. Consumers urged not to eat or dispose of products.
What to do if you have a recalled product
- Don’t eat it, even if it looks and smells fine — Listeria and Salmonella don’t change how food looks.
- Check the lot code, UPC and dates on the package against the recall notice; only those lots are affected.
- Return it for a refund or throw it away in a sealed bag, then wash surfaces it touched.
- Feel unwell? Call your doctor and mention the recall, especially if you’re pregnant, older or immunocompromised.
