The truck is under recall C4b for the ABS / Traction control system, which also disables the cruise control. I have called several times and had the vehicle into local dealerships and was told there is still no fix. I asked about trading in the truck and the dealers offered me way below KBB value stating they don't want the truck because of the recall. I ask Ram to help me out and they said there is nothing they can do. 3 times now in over the almost 2 years this truck has been under recall C4B the truck has only engaged the rear brakes during a panic stop causing me to almost crash. I talked with Ram recall department and that told me to stop driving the truck, I told them it was my only tr…
FCA US LLC is violating federal compliance regarding Emissions Recall 67A and Extended Warranty XQ1. A Ram Customer Care Supervisor officially denied my $7,400 reimbursement claim for pre-recall DEF/SCR failures, falsely claiming that 'covered components are not eligible under the XQ1 Extended Warranty if the failure occurred prior to the completion of Recall 67A.' This directly violates the manufacturer's remedy guidelines filed with the NHTSA, which explicitly mandate 'prior repair reimbursement' for these exact legacy emissions components.

The contact stated that the ABS and check engine warning lights were illuminated and the cruise control became inoperable. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed, and the failure was associated with the recall. The contact was referred to the manufacturer. The manufacturer was notified of the failure by phone and advised the contact to repair the vehicle, and a reimbursement would be provided when parts became available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a …
The contact owns a 2018 Ram 2500. The contact stated that the vehicle was repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V021000 (STEERING); however, after taking the vehicle to a dealer for a tire replacement, the contact was informed by the dealer that the wheels could not be aligned because the drag link assembly failed to meet manufacturer specifications, and that the entire assembly needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 40,000.
I have 2018 Ram 2500 Diesel that has the ABS Recall and my abs system is not working, No cruise control and No traction control. I have contacted multible dealers multible times and I'm told there is no fix for this problem. I don't understand how they can continue to engineer and build trucks that apparently don't have this problem but can't engineer a fix for this Safety Issue. My problem was first reported to the dealer (1/15/2021) 5 years ago. I bought this truck New to pull a thirty foot gooseneck trailer to haul 18000 pounds of farm equipment for my business. This truck is currently unsafe and really unusable in a safe manner for me and other drivers on the highway. It would appear Ra…

The local dealer was contacted, and it was confirmed that the part was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle the "Service ABS" and "Electronic Braking System" were displayed with an audible chime. The cruise control and traction control had deactivated. The failure mileage was approximately 45,000.
My driver side rear tire blew out on my new 26 Ram 2500, with approximately 6500 miles on it. Yes, it's available for inspection. The sidewall blew out violently throwing rubber across 3 lanes just after reaching speed limit of 65 MPH with moderate traffic I had just fueled, approx. 3/4 of a mile back @ exit 30 on the westbound [XXX] just east of [XXX], checked tires, while our wives had walked across parking lot for lunch. My Dealer looked at the tire (service writer) then he brought out the (I think shop Forman) both said We don't warranty tires!!! Also, Big Brand Tire Service looked at it, and ordered a replacement tire, there is no damage to the tread surface, or any damage inte…

Source: NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation public data (complaints, manufacturer communications, investigations), model years 2010 and later. Had a safety problem? Report it to NHTSA.
In complaints filed with NHTSA for model years 2013–2027, owners most often name: service brakes, electrical system, service brakes, hydraulic. 5,129 complaints are on record.
No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
