- Risk
- Broken shock retainer bolt heads and washers may detach and become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.

- The fasteners can loosen and fall out, allowing the tow vehicle to detach from the pin box and increasing the risk of a crash.

“The contact owns a 2025 Brinkley RV Model Z. The contact stated that while the RV was parked in the driveway, the contact heard popping sounds coming from the RV. The contact then noticed there were sparks coming from under the RV before it caught fire. The contact put out the fire with a hose.”

“The Rh side both inner wheel bearing seals failed and leaked grease on to the brake shoes. This caused 50% of the braking action to be ineffective. This is a well known issue that the manufacturer of the trailer and axle , Brinkley and Curt/Lippert are aware. The failed part number is GS-2250DL.”
