On our 2026 Brinkley Z3200 fifth wheel. our trailer brakes & tail signal lights ceased working with zero warning, due to a defective retaining clip that holds a plug into the ABS Module. We experienced complete failure on a trip over XXX in [XXX]. We pulled over immediately and engaged CHAT GPT for help. We learned this is a KNOWN, COMMON defect in the ABS Module produced by Lippert Corrp. CHAT GPT provided us with the ABS Module location, how to access it and the temporary repair to correct. We were instructed to insert the disengaged plug into the module and wrap it with tape to hold in place. The retaining clip is known to break, due to road vibrations and allow the plug to disengage,…
The Rh side both inner wheel bearing seals failed and leaked grease on to the brake shoes. This caused 50% of the braking action to be ineffective. This is a well known issue that the manufacturer of the trailer and axle , Brinkley and Curt/Lippert are aware. The failed part number is GS-2250DL. The cavity was Not over greased. This issued needs to be upgraded to a safety recall asap.

From the time of purchase we have had an issue with the fuse blowing when we retracted the kitchen slide. We have had our Brinkley 5th wheel in for service at approved Brinkley locations for this issue multiple times with the issue reproduced. Service has occurred for this issue from March 2024 until April 2026. In April 2024 when we picked up the trailer we were told by Mike Thompson dealership where we purchased the RV, that this is common and we should invest in fuses. Despite multiple trips for service the issue has yet to be resolved. We have ultimately been told to use resettable fuses, however we are extremely worried about a potential fire hazard. There is an overcurrent that o…
The contact owns a 2025 Brinkley RV Model Z. The contact stated that while the RV was parked in the driveway, the contact heard popping sounds coming from the RV. The contact then noticed there were sparks coming from under the RV before it caught fire. The contact put out the fire with a hose. Two out of four seals were blowen on the breakdrum and breaks drums contaminated with grease.
Grease seals are blown. Grease everywhere on brakes. This is a known issue and no manufacturer are doing a recall. They are asking everyone to pull the drms and see if yours are affected. Going to cause an accident before too long.

Questions
What are the most common Brinkley Rv Model Z problems?
In complaints filed with NHTSA for model years 2023–2026, owners most often name: service brakes, suspension, wheels. 8 complaints are on record.
Is a complaint or a TSB the same as a recall?
No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
How do I report a problem with my Brinkley Rv Model Z?
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
