NHTSA Safety Recall# 26V-016/Winnebago recall 201 was completed on my coach before delivery. The replacement part is falling off, as was identified in the NHTSA recall. The dealer has the coach if additional inspection or information is needed. There were no warning lamps or messages prior to the heater failing. The exact time of failure is unknown, but it was noticed on July 10th, 2026. Talked with the dealer and advised to notify NHTSA regarding recurrence of the issue.
The right side of the forward passenger seat back fell off after a screw came out. The second screw still holding the back of the seat upright was very loose. The left side of the seat bracket screws were also loose. The second passenger seat is wobbly, which looks like the screws holding the back might also be loose. Luckily, this occurred while the vehicle was stationary, and no injuries occurred. The second seat is available for inspection. I have photos showing the issue, and the coach is currently at the dealer for inspection of the second seat. No items were investigated by authorities, and no warning indicators were given. This issue occurred on the 4th of July, 2026.
Check engine light came on with significant loss of power. Poor acceleration. Lack of power resulting in slow speed which created a safety hazard for other traffic. Error code P300478 was confirmed by dealer. This is a known issue - EGR Valve Differential Pressure Sensor. This is a known (and common) issue. This should be a recall and not an extended warranty item.
Electronic rear view mirror flickers and goes blank. Cannot see traffic behind me. Talked with other owners who have confirmed similar issues. No warning prior to failure.
The contact owns a 2020 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the awning deployed independently, and two huge metal pieces fell off the vehicle. The failure reoccurred on several occasions. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer and was repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V695000 (Structure, Equipment); however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where the vehicle was serviced under an unknown recall; however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.
My RV is going into limp mode after driving several (about 4) hours. No CEL and no other symptoms other than paddle shifters not working while driving on interstate This has happened several times. I brought it twice to. Mercedes in Macon Ga who could not see any codes nor replicate and obviously will not just start replacing components. I researched on internet and many folks are experiencing same issue. Some said if I pull over, shut down for about 20 minutes, and restart it will correct. I did that and it works. Mercedes in Macon were very nice and I understand their position. However, I cannot nor do not want this to happen while going up a grade!! It is a safety hazard and needs to be…
A panel on the roof of the vehicle detached while driving at highway speed (60MPH). The panel is held on by bolts and affixed to the roof with glue. The glue failed and the bolts do not attach directly to the roof. The panel is fairly heavy and large and would present a major hazard to a following vehicle. This has been confirmed by the dealer and the detached panel is available for inspection. There was no warning prior to the detachment of the panel. The Winnebago name for the panel is "Panel Trim Front Cap, LH #329370-01-CHT".
Interior lights can be operated (in theory) by 1) a main digital screen or 2) by a set of redundant switches (one for each light) situated throughout the rv. The problem is sometimes the redundant switches work and sometimes they donât. For example twice this month I got up at 2 am to use the bathroom and clicked the switch several times with no lights illuminating. I get back in bed after guessing where the toilet was and five minutes later the lights go on. Happened two nights in a row. Third night no problem. This is not a one off occurrence. The redundant manual light switches, all over the coach, either work or donât work depending on the day, the time, the full moon. Thereâs no…
Repair instructions and other communications the manufacturer sent dealers about known issues. A TSB is not a recall, and the repair is usually free only while the car is under warranty; ask your dealer for the bulletin number.

Winnebago is implementing an improved sealant application process to enhance durability, long-term maintenance, and vehicle appearance. Moving forward, SikaLastomer®-714 will be used as the sealant for roof-mounted components, including roof vents, skylights, and TV antennas. This change eliminates the use of self-leveling sealant around roof components, providing a cleaner, more refined appearance while reducing concerns related to cracking or discoloration commonly associated with traditional sealants.

In complaints filed with NHTSA for model years 2010–2027, owners most often name: unknown or other, equipment, structure. 68 complaints are on record.
No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
