The contact owns a 2018 Winnebago Forza RV. The contact stated that while driving approximately 65 MPH, the cargo door and the door enclosing the propane tank on the driver's side unexpectedly opened. The contact stated that the failures had occurred several times. The contact stated there was no warning light illuminated. The contact had taken the vehicle to a dealer who was unable to repair the doors properly. The failure had become a recurring failure. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V512000 (Structure). The contact had received the recall letter however, the failings with the door reoccurred. The failure mileage wa…
Delamination of instrument cluster, difficult to read air pressure, engine & transmission temp, engine tach. This is an ongoing problem, seems to be increasing area of distortion. First noticed 9/2024 approximate date.
The contact owns a 2017 Winnebago Forza built on a 2017 Freightliner XC-S Chassis. The contact stated that the rear brake lights and left turn signals failed to function as intended. No warning lights were illuminated. The RV was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed that the power distribution module failed and needed to be replaced. The RV was not repaired due to the VIN not being included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 18V582000 (Exterior Lighting, Electrical System), nor 20V404000 (Electrical System, Exterior Lighting). The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 32,000.
This is my 3rd complaint. Nothing has been done by the manufacturer at this point. While on a trip from St Charles MO to Golden CO in early Sept 23, several retaining screws began falling from the visor area. This assembly is large and heavy and includes a bunk bed over the driver and front passenger seats. A good handful of screws fell to the dash below during this trip. Our fear is this assembly fill come lose and cause the driver to lose control. This issue has caused us to cancel another trip and park it until issues are resolved. Please help. This vehicle is very dangerous.
This complaint is about broken welds on the Superstructure (The framing that runs the length of the Motor Home (RV). It is attached to the chassis frame rails and supports the entire Motor Home including any cargo and equipment like the Fresh Water tanks (100 gallons) Black and Grey waste tanks. It is the backbone of the construction process and supports several thousand pounds and is under incredible stress especially when this 40 foot Motor Home with a dry weight of in in motion. This vehicle has a GVWR of 29,410 lbs. I took the vehicle down to McClain's RV center located in Corinth, TX (DFW Metroplex) to repair 2 slide-outs that were not functioning correctly on August 7th, 2023. I arri…
I kept having issues with the drivers seat belt not retracting properly (since purchased new) after use creating a tremendous amount of slack in the belt the next time it was used. I actually had to drive it several times with an extremely slack belt basically just hanging on my lap. Since this is a tri-point seat belt, in the event of a crash the entire belt would fail to keep the seat occupant safely belted to the seat including the chest strap AND lap belt. On further inspection by myself, I was able to determine the cause and keep it from happening again or at least correct the issue each time prior to driving the vehicle. I have recently seen this on 2 other Winnebago Forza's. 1 with th…
These wiper blades fell off in rain when used due to the fact that the tab locking them into place is insufficient to keep it locked in place, I have installed 4 different blades, and all fell off. This is an extreme hazard when driving at highway speeds.

No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
