What Winnebago Adventurer owners have reported to NHTSA, the service bulletins the manufacturer sent dealers, and any federal defect investigations, by model year. See Winnebago Adventurer safety recalls or check your VIN.

The vehicle systems named most often in Winnebago Adventurer complaints (one complaint can name several).
In the owners’ own words, as filed with NHTSA. Unverified reports; NHTSA removes personal details before publishing.
The hydraulic leveling system, a Lippert system failed. The hydraulic line on the driver's front leveling jack ruptured, causing hydraulic fluid to spray on the hot engine and exhaust. The engine was immediately turned off preventing a fire. The other danger is that this hydraulic line was holding the jack UP, and could have caused the jacks to drop to the pavement but fortunately we were not moving. The hydraulic line is thermoplastic and not made for high temp locations.
The latch and hinge for the engine inspection door on the front of the vehicle fell off. The assembly was glued on the body and the glue/adhesive failed and the assembly fell off and lost. This has been reports before on similar Winnebago units and it certainly represents a safety issue.
I was notified by Winnebago via letter dated 11/26/24 of NHTSA Safety Recall 24V733 (Winnebago#189) regarding non-compliance with FMVSS No. 108 "Lamps, Reflective Devices and Associated Equipment". According to Winnebago Customer Relations there is still no fix available. Since this is an important SAFETY RECALL what is being done to get Winnebago to bring my vehicle into compliance? The contact owns a 2022 Winnebago Adventurer built on a 2021 Ford F53 chassis. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V826000 (Latches/Locks/Linkages); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the passenger's side hood mounting bracket detached. The contact re-glued the hood mounting bracket. The dealer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but confirmed that parts were not yet available. The failure mileage…
The contact owns a 2019 Winnebago Adventurer. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V826000 (Latches/Locks/Linkages, Structure); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact stated that while her husband was driving at approximately 65 MPH, there was an abnormal sound coming from the under the hood. The contact stated that after arriving at the intended destination, the contactâs husband lifted the hood and became aware that passengerâs side hood bracket had detached from the hood. The part…
The epoxy that attaches the hood brackets and the grill to the body is failing. Both hood brackets have come loose, the bracket on the passenger side came loose and fell off of the motorhome on the road and the driver side bracket came off and I noticed it before it fell completely off. Two of the grill brackets are now loose also.
The front grill fell off the vehicle while driving. I was actually in the process of bringing it to a service center to have the hood bracket reattached. I had also fell off and is currently subject of a recall (NHTSA campaign number 24v826000). I was able to retrieve the grill and on inspecting the brackets that hold the grill on, there was no adherent epoxy suggesting it failed to bond correctly (which was also the issue with the hood brackets).
We are continually getting "AdvanceTrac" warning lights on the dash. We have been unable to find a Ford dealer to work on this issue. The light normally goes away after shutting off the vehicle and restarting. However, when this light comes on, the cruise control shuts off and is inoperable until the warning light resets. We believe that the traction control system is inoperable while this light is on.

In complaints filed with NHTSA for model years 2010–2025, owners most often name: structure, vehicle speed control, service brakes. 21 complaints are on record.
No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
