The infotainment system continues to âglitchâ with the faded screen and the hot pink/purple lines that go across the screen. This was upon starting my car, I hadnât even put it into drive. It took over 3 minutes of trying to restart the system to reset it- which I finally gave up and started to drive away. The infotainment system finally shut off about 3/4 of mile away from my house (and I hadnât touched it since putting my car into drive). This has been an intermittent issue since I bought the car in 10/2024 (certified preowned).
Hi, I have been an owner of 2025 Atlas Cross Sport Premium R line for over 8 months now. Since June 2026 I have 2 incidents of cracked front windshield. All VW manufactured glass for Atlas CS are made paper thin and prone to sudden damage upon small impact my road debris or rocks. I have owned cars in the past and never had this issue before. The quality of the glass does not coincides with fair business standards and it has made to the point of constant wear, so they continue to sell their glass through poor practices.

My 2024 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport has a recurring electronic/infotainment failure that began at approximately 5,000 miles and continues at approximately 49,500 miles. While driving, the infotainment screen unexpectedly shuts off, freezes, or becomes unavailable. The vehicle displays: "Exit warning system and rear traffic alert are currently not available." Lane Assist also becomes unavailable. At the same time, we can lose navigation, radio/audio, phone connectivity, and climate-control functions operated through the infotainment system. The failure occurs at both low and high speeds and on different types of roads. It has also occurred when a phone is not connected and when a phone is …
I keep having issues with the entertainment screen where it stops working. When this happens there are multiple issues: I can not control the temperature and my gps shows Iâm in a different town causing my heads up speed limit telling me the speed limit is 50mph in my 25mph neighborhood. Bill jacobs Volkswagen does not care as I have brought it in on multiple occasions and they keep informing me it works as designed. I have sent them videos and pictures. The entertainment screen controls everything in the car since there are no buttons anymore.

No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
