MAP hose/sensor failure. Issue causes motorcycle to repeatedly stall while in motion. Dealer has confirmed this is a repeat issue, even after initial MAP hose recall has been performed. Had been inspected by the dealer multiple times. Vehicle is at the dealership now for this issue again. They are working manufacturer to determine why the repeated issue. Symptoms are rough uneven idle, and repeated stalling when in motion
Rear wheel of motorcycle has five spokes that have broken and fallen out and the motorcycle has 1650 miles on it. If this is not noticed it could cause harm and even a fatal accident. These spokes should not just break and fall out. There is a defect in the material and can cause failure of the rear wheel while driving. There are reports across the internet of this failure on this model and no recalls to fix this issue. Someone may die from this and it is a major safety issue.
The following motorcycle [XXX] was bought at Two Wheels World Dealer (Manufacturer dealer) on [XXX] located at 840 S Andrews Ave Pompano Beach, FL 33069. While riding pavement, 6 spokes broke on the rear wheel, left side. I recovered 4 broken spokes, two fell out somewhere.
Riding on paved roads, 6 rear wheel spokes broke. I recovered 4, two are missing altogether.
The speedometer is 5-7 mph off ⦠itâs registering fast. I feel this is a safety issue and it also adds mileage to the motorcycle. I have contacted the dealer and my concerns fall on deaf ears! I have also sent a email to Triumph USA ⦠no response as yet.
Motorcycle Shutting down on deceleration. This problem happens when decelerating with the clutch pulled in and shifting from second to first gear. It happens inconsistently and with no discernible Rhyme or Reason. I've been unable to replicate this or determine a set of variables other than second to first gear. Your form requires an incident date but this is something that has happened to me several dozen times.
Bike stalls while downshifting. Triumph covered the fix of the map sensor under warranty. A couple months later the bike has redeveloped the same issue. It stalls while downshifting. This is a potentially severe scenario for me as the driver in traffic, and potentially for others if an accident causes follow-on crashes.

No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
