The turn signals work the first time but if I try to signal a turn a second time within a relatively short time (roughly one or two minutes) there is an error message and none of the turn signals work at all. I can reset the error message with the enter button but the turn signals continue to not function for a few minutes. I took the motorcycle for service to the dealer that sold it to me (D2 Power Sports in Greer, South Carolina) and paid for diagnostics, but no solution was offered. I have also written to Triumph about this problem in a survey but have not gotten a response. I have sent a copy of the preceding complaint to Triumph Customer Service and expressed my willingness to assist …
The the front brakes are soft and slow to engage when pulling the brake lever. However, when pulling the lever immediately afterwards, the brakes engage quickly and firmly. After a short period of time without engaging the front brakes, pulling the lever again results in soft and slow engagement. Slow and soft engagement of the front brake is a clear safety issue and may result in an accident. The problem was confirmed by an independent mechanic, Cycles of Silver Spring in Silver Spring, Maryland. The vehicle has been repeatedly inspected, and brake fluids have been replaced three times. The issue is resolved for a short period but then returns.
This motorcycle has a button controlled LED information display on the left handlebar. The buttons scroll through trip time, average MPG, instant MPG, odometer, trip distance, and range to empty. I need this information to ride safely. I have experienced a failure of this system whenever I have ridden approximately 50 miles or one hour. At that point, the display freezes on whichever element is currently displayed and cannot be changed. I was an hour from home when this first happened and needed to ride home with only the odometer displayed. i have taken the bike back to the Dealer who has not been able to replicate the failure during short test rides. However, the Dealer's technici…

No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
