Here's your description, about 1,750 characters, so it fits the 2,000 limit: --- My 2025 Toyota Tundra has two intermittent defects that have not been repaired despite multiple visits to Berglund Toyota in [XXX] 1. Driver's door will not unlock. Intermittently, when I press unlock on the key fob, all doors unlock except the driver's door. I have video showing me standing outside the truck with the fob in hand while the driver's door stays locked and the other doors open normally. The dealer disassembled the door and checked the wiring and connections but could not duplicate the problem and found no codes. A Toyota field technician also inspected the truck. No parts have been replaced beca…

Two issues happening at the same time. âKey not detectedâ and âTPMS System Malfunctionâ. Key not detected: Happens at various times, either at startup or while driving, an error message that says âKey not detected â comes on the dash and a loud beeping. My concern is that I may become stranded somewhere if the system cannot detect the key when trying to start the truck. The issue has been confirmed by both the dealer and Toyota and has not been fixed to date. TPMS System Malfunction: At various times while driving, a warning message is displayed on the dashboard that states there is a malfunction with the tire pressure monitoring system and that it should be checked by the d…
Possible issue with the safety of others: My tailgate for my 2025 Tundra crewmax came opened (unknown to me) and contents of my Truck bed dumped onto the road. The incident as it happened. I was backed into a parking spot, truck was off, when I got in my remote was in my pocket and the truck would not start. So I pulled the remote out of my pocket and put it in the console. The truck would then start. I wasnt observant to the dashboard warnings if they were there. While driving home I heard all my bed contents fall out. Fortunatly I noticed it before it affected anyone. The best I can figure is that other objects in my pocket may have pushed the tailgate button. Since I was backed in and the…

During the manufacturing process, tires are mounted on the vehicle as matched sets to help reduce conditions such as pulling or drifting. If the wheels are replaced or refinished before vehicle delivery, it is important that the tires remain on the vehicle in the same location and in the same direction of rotation.
A battery in a stored vehicle is subject to conditions that can reduce its performance and service life. These conditions include storage period, temperature, parasitic drain, and battery load. Because of these factors, battery inspection and maintenance are required in order to ensure proper operation and optimal battery life.
Long-term or off-site storage requires special care to maintain vehicle condition. The following guidelines should be performed to minimize vehicle component/part degradation due to extendedvehicle storage conditions. Long-term storage can affect a vehicleâs systems and components. Any problems that are found should be corrected immediately.
Some customers of 2022 â 2026 model year Tundra vehicles equipped with specifically non-hybridV35A-FTS engines may experience one or more of the following drivability related concerns: ⢠Hesitation from a rolling stop. ⢠Hesitation from a quick stop. NHTSA received a petition on or about July 18, 2022, requesting that Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 141 be applied to all electric and hybrid vehicles operating in the United States. The petition can be reviewed at NHTSA.gov under ODI Number 11486072. FMVSS 141 establishes performance requirements for pedestrian alert sounds for motor vehicles. The Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) opened this investigation to determine if the failure of airbags to deploy during severe crashes, in certain vehicles, was the result of a safety related defect. During the investigation a complex failure was studied that can result in non-deployment of subject vehicle air bags and other restraint system devices in severe crash events. The subject vehicles may be equipped with an airbag control unit (ACU) for the supplemental restraint system (SRS) Ele
Source: NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation public data (complaints, manufacturer communications, investigations), model years 2010 and later. Had a safety problem? Report it to NHTSA.
In complaints filed with NHTSA for model years 2010–2026, owners most often name: engine, power train, fuel/propulsion system. 2,484 complaints are on record.
No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
