Three original equipment Hankook Dynapro HT tires developed belt-related failures at approximately 6,000 miles of use during a road trip in June 2026. On [XXX], while driving in Tennessee, we noticed a vibration that gradually increased in intensity. We stopped for inspection at C&D Tire & Service in Athens, TN, which found a "bad belt" in the left-front tire at an odometer reading of 5,649 miles. The tire was replaced and retained. The following day, [XXX], the vibration returned and worsened. We stopped at Bill Morgan Tire in Lexington, KY, which found a "severe belt rupture" in the left-rear outer tire and noted that the right-front original equipment tire was "showing signs" of a simil…
I bought this RV as a new 2023 Thor Quantum MB24 . After a recall performed by Mercedez of Pleasanton , California ( after the VIN no. was punched on their computer ) , it shows as a 2021 Model year . How would I know if I was sold a pre - owned Motor Vehicle or a new one ? It has 2000+ miles in accordance to RECVAN @ Fremont , California , was acquired driven from Elkhart , Indiana to California . There were few issues and problems that I found out later after I had the RV parked outside my resident in Mountain House , California : Dirty outside compartment , Inoperable Navigation system , left outside wheel hub cap held by a single screw , all 4 rear wheel air valves not working properly ,…
The contact owns a 2024 Thor Quantum RV. The contact stated that while parked with the engine idling, the RV started to vibrate and shake before shutting off. The contact was unable to restart the RV. The RV was later towed to the local mechanic. The local mechanic diagnosed the RV and determined that the fuel pump control module had failed due to condensation from the A/C drainage pipe leaking onto the module. The module was replaced, and the RV was repaired. The contact was informed that due to the design location of the A/C drainage pipe being directly over top of the fuel pump control module, the failure would probably recur. Additionally, while driving at various speeds, the RV was pul…
Drove from Gibson Louisiana to Abita Springs Ocean Canyon RV park. Upon arrival we had a buzzer alert going off under dash, we then parked to RV. Tried to put jacks down, did not respond, tried 12v lights did not work, tried slides, again no response. We then plugged in and were able to get jacks and slides out, some lights worked. Still alarm under dash, checked 12 coach battery, almost dead. Called a mobile RV tech, 2 1/2 hours later, he found a ground bolt had come off with 3 grounding wires on it. Tech advised that bolt was only tacked on one side, my Warranty company said a original technician fault and not covered. Talked to Thor later, they advised that is how it is attached, advi…
I own a 2022 Thor Quantum LC22 motorhome build on a 2022 Ford E350 chassis. The rear dually tires were installed with Dicor brand inner tire valve extenders. These extenders are attached to the outer wheels using a plastic clip. The plastic clip on the driver's side extender broke off, causing the extender device to hang free. As I was driving the vehicle, the device wedged between the tires and cut the sidewalls on both, causing a sudden flat tire. Both tires needed to be replaced. When at the repair shop, the mechanic found the other valve extender on the passenger side was also broken and hanging free. I believe this is a defect and should be investigated as it could cause a blowout.
SUMMARY: WHERE DO I START, EXCEPT EVERYONE IS SAFE. DRIVING TO DISNEY WITH THE FAMILY FOR CHRISTMAS (DAUGHTER JOINING US FROM COLLEGE) AND WE SUDDENLY HEAR A LOUD BANG FROM THE CAB; THE STARLIGHT WINDOW BLEW OUT/ OFF. WE WERE THE ONLY ONES ON THE ROAD (DOING ABOUT 50 MPH) AND NOTHING HIT US, LOOKS LIKE THE GLUE/SEAL JUST GAVE WAY! THE OTHER THING I WAS SURPRISED THERE WERE SHARP GLASS SHARDS IN THE CAMPER AND THE GLASS DID NOT SHATTER INTO SMALL SQUARES ONE TYPICALLY SEES WITH SAFETY GLASS. HONESTLY, IT COULD HAVE BEEN WORSE IF THE GLASS PANEL WOULD HAVE BLOWN INWARD IT WOULD HAVE HIT ONE OF MY DAUGHTERS; AS IT IS, THEY WERE HIT WITH SMALL SHARDS OF GLASS.*DT*DT*JB
WE PICKED UP OUR NEW RV MOTORHOME FROM OUR DEALER TWO WEEKS AGO AND PARKED IT BEHIND OUR HOUSE, A DISTANCE OF APPROX. 25 MILES. LAST WEEK WE BEGAN TO LOAD IT WITH SOME CLOTHING AND SUPPLIES SO WE COULD TAKE IT OUT ON A TEST RIDE IN A FEW WEEKS. WHILE DOING A CAREFUL CHECK OF THE RV I FOUND THAT THE POWER OUTPUT CABLE OF THE RV'S GENERATOR WAS LAYING DIRECTLY ON THE GENERATOR'S EXHAUST PIPE AND HAD MELTED OVER 3/4 THROUGH. WHEN I LIFTED THE CABLE OFF THE PIPE I COULD SEE HOW BADLY DAMAGED THE PROTECTIVE CABLE WAS AND EXPECTED THE INSULATION ON THE 30 AMP POWER WIRES MUST ALSO BE MELTED. IF THE GENERATOR HAD BEEN TURNED ON I BELIEVE, AT THE LEAST, IT WOULD HAVE STARTED AN ELECTRICAL FIRE. WI…

It has been discovered that on certain Flame King model SMPC 20.3 Gallon LP tanks, there is a faulty fill valve. This affects certain TMC units built between 6/14/2021 to 8/10/2021.
MBAG has determined that on certain model year 2019-2020 Sprinter vehicles, the retaining washer on the bolt that connects the brake pedal to its bearing block could come loose. If the retaining washer were to come loose, over time it could detach from the bolt, and in the worst case and with ongoing use of the brake pedal, the bolt might separate from the bearing block on one side. If this were to occur, the brake lamp switch could become continuously activated even when the brake pedal is not pressed. If the brake lamps are continuously illuminated, it would not be possible for followin

According to the tire manufacturer, Continental Tire the Americas (CTA), the affected tires may have an overcure condition and CTA has initiated a safety recall for these tires. According to CTA, overcured tires may experience a carcass break in the sidewall with sudden air loss or could develop a belt edge separation which could lead to partial or full tread/belt loss. These conditions may increase the risk of a crash. This affects the following Thor Motor Coach products: model year 2019 Quantum & Freedom Elite, 2019/2021 Daybreak & Four Winds, and 2019-2021 Chateau motorhomes.
On certain model year 2012â 2018 5-ton Sprinter vehicles that were upfitted into campers or recreational vehicles (âÂÂRVsâÂÂ), one or more of the rear-wheel speed sensors may experience an electrical failure, which potentially could lead to a disablement of the Electronic Stability Control (âÂÂESPâÂÂ) control unit functions. If ESP control unit functions are disabled, vehicle driving stability may be impacted under certain driving conditions, increasing the risk of a crash. This affects the following Thor Motor Coach products: model year 2013-2020 Chateau Citation & Four

On your vehicle, it may be possible that the engine cover insulation does not fully extend to the perimeter of the factory engine cover. In addition, vehicles built on a Ford chassis may have higher engine compartment temperatures during certain idle conditions. This may result in elevated temperatures at certain areas of the engine cover surface in the passenger compartment on both driver and passenger sides. Direct and continuous contact with exposed skin at these locations may cause skin irritation and/or a minor burn. This affects the following Thor Motor Coach products: model year 20

Source: NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation public data (complaints, manufacturer communications, investigations), model years 2010 and later. Had a safety problem? Report it to NHTSA.
In complaints filed with NHTSA for model years 2016–2025, owners most often name: electrical system, unknown or other, engine and engine cooling. 7 complaints are on record.
No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
