The contact owns a 2023 Thor Motor Coach Gemini. The contact stated that the wire connecting the solenoid to the generator was burned. The solenoid was making a cranking sound while turned off. The contact stated that the head bolts had fractured and detached on the side awning rails on both sides. The skylight window was leaking water into the cabin of the camper. The contact stated that there was a warning informing the contact that the motorhome was due for an oil change that occurred earlier than expected. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V097000 (Structure, Equipment); but had not taken the motorhome to the dealer to be repaired under the recall. The dealer …
This brake controller seems to apply full brakes regardless of the settings within the app. I have reinstalled it several times as directed by the manufacturere and each time I get on the road and just barely touch the brakes it locks the trailer brakes. This is dangerous since there is no way to test the system without driving.
UNKNOWN While under warranty, front cap caulking separating from chassis above windshield. Repair shop only recaulked the seam. Caulking separated again next motorhome trip, however vehicle since was beyond 1 year warranty. It was determined that the entire front cap was separating from the chassis. Manufacture would not accept any responsibility for the defect. Forums indicate this is not an isolated incident.

There is a recall for my vehicle it is notice # 2021070007 despite your website stating there is none. My problem with your recall is that it only applies to the rear wheel sensors on the Mercedes sprinter chassis. I've had both front and rear wheel sensor failures on my sprinter both failures coming with less 5000 miles on my sprinter which the Mercedes dealership refused to repair. I don't why NHTSA would limit the recall to just the rear sensors when the front sensors are exactly the same as the rear sensors and are failing also. These are dangerous failures which disable the safety systems on the vehicles.
THE REAR SPEED SENSOR ON MY 2018 THOR GEMINI RV WITH THE MERCEDES BENZ 3500 SPRINTER CHASSIS WENT BAD KNOCKING OUT MY ABS, STABILITY CONTROL AND CRUISE CONTROL ON A LONG TRIP. I WAS ON THE HIGHWAY DOING A STEADY 60-65 MPH. MY SPRINTER ONLY HAS 8,000 MILES ON IT. I'VE READ THIS IS A RECURRING PROBLEM ON THESE VEHICLES SO I THOUGHT I WOULD REPORT IT.
Repair instructions and other communications the manufacturer sent dealers about known issues. A TSB is not a recall, and the repair is usually free only while the car is under warranty; ask your dealer for the bulletin number.
It has been discovered that certain model year 2025-2027 Gemini & Compass 22MT, 2025-2026 Eddie Bauer 22ET, the AGS is not monitoring the state of battery charge. The AGS is ONLY monitoring the air conditioning demand. A Firefly software update is required.
Wood stiles are delaminating due to the vendor changing the glue used for the wrapped stiles.
This is the print that is associated with the previous submission for TSB 22-08. I forgot to attach both documents
Gemini/Compass E-start is not wired correctly.
This splitter sends the backup camera signal to both inputs of the monitor. Without it you can only view the camera in reverse, not while driving down the road.
Original Ford USB in dash is non-functioning. TMC uses an upgraded radio in place of the Ford OEM radio, and this USB is no longer supported.
Gemini/Compass emergency start harness issue. One solenoid wire is spliced into the wrong circuit.
MBAG has determined that on certain model year 2019-2020 Sprinter vehicles, the retaining washer on the bolt that connects the brake pedal to its bearing block could come loose. If the retaining washer were to come loose, over time it could detach from the bolt, and in the worst case and with ongoing use of the brake pedal, the bolt might separate from the bearing block on one side. If this were to occur, the brake lamp switch could become continuously activated even when the brake pedal is not pressed. If the brake lamps are continuously illuminated, it would not be possible for followin

On certain model year 2012â 2018 5-ton Sprinter vehicles that were upfitted into campers or recreational vehicles (âÂÂRVsâÂÂ), one or more of the rear-wheel speed sensors may experience an electrical failure, which potentially could lead to a disablement of the Electronic Stability Control (âÂÂESPâÂÂ) control unit functions. If ESP control unit functions are disabled, vehicle driving stability may be impacted under certain driving conditions, increasing the risk of a crash. In complaints filed with NHTSA for model years 2016–2025, owners most often name: electrical system, structure, electronic stability control (esc). 6 complaints are on record.
No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
