“DOOR LOCKING MECHANISM HAS A KNOWN DEFECT WHERE THE SLIDING BOLT BREAKS DUE TO METAL FATIGUE OR OTHER REASON. MANUFACTURER IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM, AND CREATED A NEW LOCK, THAT HAS THE SAME DEFECT, ACCORDING TO OTHER CONSUMERS.”

“THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 THOR DAYBREAK MOTORHOME. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY, THE ENTRY STAIRWELL FRACTURED. AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC REPAIRED THE VEHICLE. THOR MOTORCOACH WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE MOTORHOME WAS OUT OF WARRANTY COVERAGE. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED.”
