What Lincoln Corsair owners have reported to NHTSA, the service bulletins the manufacturer sent dealers, and any federal defect investigations, by model year. See Lincoln Corsair safety recalls or check your VIN.
Complaints owners filed with NHTSA, by the model year of the vehicle. A high count can also mean a popular year, so compare it with how many were sold.

I was going forward in drive maybe 5 mph, came to a stop and opened my driver door , My car has the safety feature when you open your door, it automatically goes into park, it did, and so I proceeded to get out. I noticed my car kind of made a jerk, and the next thing I know it was going in reverse. I tried to jump in to stop it so it wouldnât hit my house and it ran me over on the ankle. Only thing that stopped my car was a tree and another vehicle
After a rain the rear tail lights went out. Water is getting in the light and shorting out the lights. On line it is a known issue and Lincoln is handling it under warranty for 2024 - 2026 and listed as a safety issue. My 2022 is 3 weeks out of warranty and nothing is offered. The cost to correct over $2000 with no guarantee it wonât happen again.
Recall 25SC4 software update would reduce the EV only range by as much as 20% below the Wikndow Sticker 27 miles. This action does not correct the problem which caused the recall. The root cause is a manufacturing flaw in the Samsung SDI battery cells where the thin separator layer between the cathode and anode was damaged. An internal short circuit can happen spontaneously due to this physical imperfection regardless of whether the battery is fully charged, partially charged, or actively discharging while driving. The recall does not correct the problem.
In Lincoln's own words the lithium batteries are flawed and can cause a short circuit which can lead to a fire. This could lead to grave danger to life. I keep my car in my garage which could lead to a house fire and harm to my family. Their original temporary fix was to set the charging system to stop at 80%. After doing this when I receive the original recall, it was undone at least twice by software updates they pushed to the vehicle. Once by one of their own technician. Now their so call fix is to permanently, maybe, push software that limits the charge to 80%. In my opinion this is a bandaid, not a fix. If the batteries are flawed, they need to be replaced them, period! I purchased and …
Several problems have occurred, not sure if they are related or not. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. In my opinion as a retired mechanic the problem components might include transmission, torque converter, accelerator or any electrical components associated with these systems. There were no warning lamps or messages related to the situation before or since. The following are my descriptions of the two issues: 1) In every day around town driving, mostly at lower speeds or after coasting, the transmission jerks, stutters and chugs. The sensation feels exactly like driving with a manual trans and trying to start from a stop in third gear. Related or not, it also seems to …
The contact owns a 2022 Lincoln Corsair. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle experienced severe, erratic shifting in all gears, transmission slippage, and hesitation. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was initially taken to an independent mechanic, where a transmission replacement was recommended. The vehicle was then taken to the dealer, where excessive metal debris was found inside the transmission, and it was determined that the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and denied financial assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 75,000.
At around 125,000, my car developed a shudder at switching gears. Ford has previously identified a problem with my car, which was manufactured before XXX, and purchased on or around XXX. They have since sent out a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB25-2154). No diagnostic codes are identified for the car, but since my car's extended warranty expired at 100,000 miles, I have a potentially dangerous car, where the torque converter may explode within the transmission and cause catastrophic failure. I drive XXX daily between [XXX], and [XXX], which is one of the most dangerous sections of the road. This problem is on top of 3 recalls for the rear camera. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FRE…
The contact owns a 2022 Lincoln Corsair. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V117000 (Visibility); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the windshield wipers were intermittently inoperable while driving. Two dealers were contacted and confirmed that parts were not available. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 24,300.
Repair instructions and other communications the manufacturer sent dealers about known issues. A TSB is not a recall, and the repair is usually free only while the car is under warranty; ask your dealer for the bulletin number.
This bulletin supersedes 25-2326. Reason for update: update the service procedure to include the fuel tank isolation valve replacement, update the causal part number, and increase the labor time allowance to include the fuel tank isolation valve replacement. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P2450 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). This may be due to the software in the PCM and/or the fuel tank isolation valve.

One time use parts for Corsair and Bronco Sport were also added to the parts list. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit a headliner rattle or sagging condition around the roof opening panel. This may be due to the adhesive separating from the headliner substrate.

Some 2021-2026 Ford/Lincoln vehicles may exhibit various symptoms including but not limited to the auto start/stop system not operating as intended with a "Check Charging System" message in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) while the charging system is operating properly with no charging related diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) stored. This may be due to someone using an aftermarket programmer to change the body control module (BCM) configuration to disable the auto start/stop system or perform other unsupported programming modifications. To correct this condition on F-150 and Bronco vehicles,

In complaints filed with NHTSA for model years 2020–2026, owners most often name: electrical system, back over prevention, unknown or other. 217 complaints are on record.
No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
