I received notice over a year ago that the engine in my Lexus was defective and failure could cause damage, injury or death because the engine would seize up. We drive in rural areas, often outside of cell service. We are [XXX] and to be stranded, especially at night, would be very dangerous. I have made several calls to dealers and Lexus in Plano, and no one is willing to do anything about the problem they have created. They offer nothing. Lexus LX 600 2024 While driving the cars the main monitor screen which displays important information, a splash screen pops up asking for a 6 DIGIT PIN # and obscure the information beneath it. This totally takes you out of the GPS app. Loss of the GPS app while driving in a full freeway in busy traffic is potentially life threatening. Not only that clearing this PIN request the driver finds the GPS App gone. The driver is requited to cancel out of the demand for a â6 digit PIN number only to find this screen obtrusive screen only pop up at infinitum. This puts the driver and other traffic at risk. Purchase Date of LX600: 10/26/2023 Date of Incident: 12/21/2025 While driving home (at about 65 MPH) the vehicle gave an alert on the dash which said Pull Over - Vehicle Losing Power and Shutting Down. Once this alert appeared on the dash, we had approximately 30 seconds to find a safe spot to pull over. The road that this happened on is a one lane road in each direction in a rural zone that is highly traveled by Semi Trucks. Luckily, there was a gravel spot on the road where we were able to stop the vehicle, just in time to avoid a catastrophe. On 12/22 we took vehicle to Lexus of Wesley Chapel where it currently is today. The Service Advisor (Sierra) confirmed this is part of the reca…

I am writing to report a concern regarding an unresolved safety recall for my 2023 Lexus LX 600. Lexus notified us of this recall on November 6, 2025. However, nearly four months later, the company continues to state on its website that no remedy is currently available. Given the significant purchase price of this vehicleâexceeding $100,000âI find it unacceptable that a resolution has not yet been provided. I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed and that appropriate action be taken to ensure a timely and effective remedy for affected customers.
Repair instructions and other communications the manufacturer sent dealers about known issues. A TSB is not a recall, and the repair is usually free only while the car is under warranty; ask your dealer for the bulletin number.
A battery in a stored vehicle is subject to conditions that can reduce its performance and service life. These conditions include storage period, temperature, parasitic drain, and battery load. Because of these factors, battery inspection and maintenance are required to ensure proper operation and optimal battery life.
During the manufacturing process, tires are mounted on the vehicle as matched sets to help reduce conditions such as pulling or drifting. If the wheels are replaced or refinished before vehicle delivery, it is important that the tires remain on the vehicle in the same location and in the same direction of rotation.

In complaints filed with NHTSA for model years 2010–2027, owners most often name: engine, engine and engine cooling, service brakes. 31 complaints are on record.
No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
