The contact owns a 2013 Keystone Sprinter equipped with the original Dometic Refrigerator, Model Number: DM2652RBX, Serial Number: 24595696. The contact stated that while parked and occupying in the RV, the contact discovered that the refrigerator was not cooling as intended, causing the food to spoil. The contact immediately unplugged the refrigerator, refilled the propane and the refrigerator failed to work as intended. The contact also stated that brakes for the trailer was inoperable. The contact stated that the cause of the failure had not been determined by a dealer or independent mechanic. The manufacturer was notified of the failure; however, no assistance was offered.

I had a recall on my 2020 Keystone Sprinter Winn-Tec Model 6020 dual stage propane regulator. In a letter dated March 24, 2023 for a recall of a Winn-Tec Model 6020 dual stage propane regulator needing to be replaced (Safety Recall: 21V-427, Safety Advisory 21-413) I contacted Lees Country RV dealer that does work on Keystone campers regarding this recall notice. I was then charged an $80 labor fee for replacing this recall part. In the recall notice it specifically states "The service and parts required for this corrective action will be provided at no charge to you" After email and phone conversations with Keystone RV Customer Service I was informed that this is not the case. The contact was concerned that the fifth wheel might detach while being hauled.
