Hooked camper up to our tow vehicle. Went inside to prepare to leave our storage. Husband turned the propane on and I pressed Further start button on the refrigerator once the pilot light ignited. After less than one minute an error message began beeping on the digital LCD pad to alert that there was a disconnect from the power source being used. Five seconds later it stopped, and the LCD went blank. I shouted to my husband to check the propane because the refrigerator had stopped and he confirmed that it was still running. I hit the start button again several times and nothing occurred. As I turned to go out the door I noticed a faint, small plume of smoke. My husband rushed in and did conf…
The drive to lower the spare tire is on driver side of the 5th wheel camper. If you have a flat and pull off the road you will be lowering the tire on the same side of oncoming traffic. GOOD CHANCE OF GETTING HIT BY ONCOMING TRAFFIC.
this is about a recreational vehicle safety recall 24V-234 safety advisory 24-452 Suburban stove LED backlight printed circuit boards that were defective and should have been fixed or replaced under warranty. What good is a warranty if they just want to cut and terminate the circuit? Would it be ok to cut and terminate wires to a defective air bag in a vehicle? I would like to know why. We bought this product and they don't want to correct the problem, they just want to cut the wire and delete the function. I don't think this is right. Thank you for your time.

On 4/26/2025 The Suburban stove caught on fire. This is a serious issue, if were not in the RV to catch this, all our belongings and our RV would have went up in flames. Now the company wants to do a half baked repair.
The model is a High County 385 BR and a crack appeared below the front bedroom slide and the slide stopped working correctly. I took the unit to Blue Compass in Katy, Texas and they discussed the issue with Keystone which resulted in the completion of what they called a flex test, basically they measure the distance between a fixed point in the hitch and the lower frame with the unit on ground on its jacks and then lift it on the king pin and make the same measurement, which I'm told needs to be 1/2" max, mine was over 1". So they took body work off to allow inspection of the main structural frame ( supplied by LCi) and aluminum framing and found broken aluminum framing welds, what appears t…

In complaints filed with NHTSA for model years 2010–2026, owners most often name: structure, tires, unknown or other. 113 complaints are on record.
No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
