Complaints owners filed with NHTSA, by the model year of the vehicle. A high count can also mean a popular year, so compare it with how many were sold.

My 2022 Jeep Wagoneer has experienced four separate incidents of complete power loss while being operated. During these events, the electrical displays went dark and electrical functions stopped working on the entire vehicle On [XXX], the vehicle lost all power while I was pulling into my garage. It would not release from Park normally and required wheel skates and towing. The dealership replaced the battery, but the symptoms later returned. On [XXX], the vehicle lost all power while traveling approximately 20â30 mph near [XXX] and [XXX] in heavy holiday traffic. I could not reach the shoulder and stopped in a turning lane without a collision. The vehicle required towing. The dealership …
My 2024 Jeep Wagoneer L experienced automatic stop/start restart failures during summer 2026 travel. During one incident, we were stopped in traffic while exiting the [XXX]. The engine shut off during the automatic stop/start cycle but did not restart as expected. We had difficulty restarting it, leaving us unable to move in traffic until it eventually restarted. I was concerned about being struck or stranded in a congested tunnel exit area. Two batteries were replaced during the trip, one during service in [XXX] and another following the [XXX] incident. Mopar records list service at Jones Chrysler Jeep Dodge on XXX, at 22,409 miles, including a battery-related entry, and Chrysler Dodge Jee…
While driving my vehicle suddenly shuts off the engine and puts the vehicle into park. This has happened multiple times now and once on I-66 while merging onto I-495. This seems very dangerous.
2022 Jeep Wagoneer â VIN [XXX]. Both front sun visor mounting brackets have broken. The driver-side visor can become loose/detached and obstruct the driver's view. Passenger-side visor has also broken. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to report a serious safety concern involving my Jeep Wagoneer. The vehicle has experienced intermittent stalling issues, creating a hazardous driving situation and leaving me stranded. The vehicle unexpectedly stalled, causing a loss of power and leaving me without reliable transportation. Given the potential safety risks associated with a vehicle stalling while in operation, I am extremely concerned about the possibility of this occurring again, particularly in traffic or at highway speeds. Adding to my frustration, after contacting the dealership for assistance, I was informed that it would be approximately eight days before the vehicle could even be…
Front parksense sensors not working even after being cleaned. Drivers side seatbelt saying not buckled even when buckled. Needing to rebuckle for it to register. Low-voltage warnings appearing while driving. Multiple dashboard warning lights appearing simultaneously - low-voltage and check engine light. Loss of electrical power while driving (So scary!) The vehicle shifting itself into park when coming to a stop in traffic. Apple CarPlay disconnecting sporadically.
The driverâs side sun visor at the main attach point broke when trying to move it from the stowed position. Prior to this, no looseness or other abnormal condition was known to exist. The plastic elbow which serves as the pivot point separated from the base with the electrical wires remaining attached. This results in the driverâs view directly in front of the vehicle being 80-90% restricted as the visor falls directly in front of the driverâs face. The visor will not stow. One hand must be used to hold the visor up against the headliner. This presents risks to the driver via restricted visibility, distraction and physical limitations. The risk extends as a threat to the safety of pas…
While driving, vehicle suddenly displayed low voltage and "power saving mode" error messages. Multiple systems shut down including AC and radio. With engine stop/start disabled, engine died while slowing to a stop, automatically engaged parking brake, and vehicle shut down. Was able to restart and limp home. Vehicle would not re-start after shutdown. Battery was completely discharged (<9V) and still hot to the touch 4 hours after turned off. Battery tested good, but was replaced out of caution. Current static battery voltage 12.3V. Charging voltage while running 13.4V. Voltage while running with heavy electrical load (AC, radio, heated seats, headlights on) 12.9V. Believe this to be relate…

No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
