L-shaped mounting bracket attached to chassis that secures RV leveling system hydraulic pump broke off causing the entire hydraulic pump assembly to loosely suspend under body frame and leak hydraulic fluid onto highway.
The Lippert Schwintek slide system has failed on our 2020 Jayco Melbourne 24L at least five times (and been repaired 4 times - about to be 5 times) since it was purchased on 9/18/2023. When the slide fails, it is not locked into place and will extend out of the perimeter of the RV when driving around a corner or curve. This results in danger to us as it can cause us to lose control of the RV if it slides too far out while navigating a curve. We have had to stop on a busy interstate to push the slide back in! So far, only one of the slide corners has failed. If both fail, the entire slide will go out and will result in a catastrophic incident. When the slide mechanism fails, it makes …

We have a brand new 2021 Jayco Melbourne that we've had for almost a year. We just took a trip and opened our bins underneath to find that in transit something shifted and TURNED THE LIGHT ON IN THE BIN and it burned the plastic cover of the light AND it burned a plastic tarp! Had it been touching something else, our entire unit could have gone up in flames! It seems that the bin that is directly UNDER THE BED accessible from OUTSIDE the RV has THREE LIGHT SWITCHES on the INSIDE WALLS of that bin. There is NO COVER over that switches. The bulbs in those lights are old style lights that get extremely hot. When things move during transit they can bump those switches and TURN THEM ON. TH…

In complaints filed with NHTSA for model years 2010–2026, owners most often name: equipment, structure, unknown or other. 9 complaints are on record.
No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
