What Jaguar F-TYPE owners have reported to NHTSA, the service bulletins the manufacturer sent dealers, and any federal defect investigations, by model year. See Jaguar F-TYPE safety recalls or check your VIN.
Complaints owners filed with NHTSA, by the model year of the vehicle. A high count can also mean a popular year, so compare it with how many were sold.

I was almost hit by a car in parking lot and other driver stated that I didn't have my directional on. This has happened on the highway stop lights which accounts for people honking at me when crossing roadway during a turn onto another road. I checked and found the light wasn't working for turn signal. I then contacted dealer to replace what I'm told is the entire headlight unit. Apprently they indicated an issue over the years with known DRL blowing out and the turning signal on headlight doesn't work . I researched and found this was an issue with people over the 2017-2019 years. To make it worse its a 5k repair job so no wonder a recall was never done by JLR motors.
The drivers side headlight directional is slowly failing due to the design of it from the factory and it will soon be nonfunctional. 2020 Jaguar F-Type daytime running light (DRL) or driving light failure is usually caused by an internal design flaw where heat from the LED system melts the plastic light-guide rod. Because the DRL also serves as the amber turn signal, the melting can also cause the indicator strip to flash dimly or fail altogether and have no turn signal. This is a very well known problem on these vehicles and it is cleaarly a safety issue that should be a recall with Jaguar
Symptoms of failure was present prior to complete failure. At highway speed, vehicle sometimes resisted steering input. At 20-30mph, steering wanders side to side and fights my steering inputs. When complete failure occurred, steering became difficult at low speed, parking situations. No warning or error message on dash. Vehicle was towed to dealer where they determined the electric motor on the steering rack suffered an internal failure. When disconnected from power, the steering rack was smooth, albeit unassisted. When connected to power, the steering rack was stiff and difficult to turn. It was determined that the electric motor resisted steering input rather than assist. Steering racks…
There is a known issue with a piece inside of the drivers side headlight assembly causing the DRL and blinker to be very dim to where it is difficult to see in the daylight. The known failure is a piece inside called the Oculator. It apparently burns and melts causing the led light to fail to travel down the plastic strip effectively causing the blinker to be too dim. Jaguar knows about the issue and has manufactured a new headlight assembly with a corrected version of this oculator piece. They refuse to correct the issue under warranty however. My question is this...is this blinker too dim now to pass the federal standard listed for brightness of these turn signals? My car, or practica…
Rear back up camera does not work. Vehicle displays âRear Camera System Faultâ message. No image on screen when reverse gear selected.
The drivers side DRL has a "J" Blade that its lit while driving day or night (DRL) This "J" Blade on the driver's side is dim, and it effects the turn signal causing in my and several thousand owners with the same issue a very safety issue. JLR Jaguar Land Rover North America will NOT address this safety issue and refuses to correct the problem. To replace the light assembly will cost in excess of $6,000.00 This is again, a safety issue and its is a manufacturer defect There are several thousand folks out there with this F-Type Jaguar DRL Failure.
I have been encountering a persistent issue with the engine, which exhibits symptoms of underperformance, occasionally necessitating a complete stop. Additionally, the ABS warning light activates intermittently without providing any diagnostic codes before subsequently disappearing. A recent diagnostic check identified several minor concerns. I've also observed a degradation in the vehicle's handling characteristics, paired with a "Stability Control No Longer Available" warning message. I have ruled out a fuse-related issue, as all fuses have been assessed and found to be functional. Furthermore, my vehicle seems subject to additional recall considerations. Reports of stability contr…

In complaints filed with NHTSA for model years 2013–2024, owners most often name: electrical system, engine, power train. 36 complaints are on record.
No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
