What Jaguar F-PACE owners have reported to NHTSA, the service bulletins the manufacturer sent dealers, and any federal defect investigations, by model year. See Jaguar F-PACE safety recalls or check your VIN.
Complaints owners filed with NHTSA, by the model year of the vehicle. A high count can also mean a popular year, so compare it with how many were sold.

Failure of the Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) rack on 2019 Jaguar Pace causing an immediate safety hazard when driven in the rain. Factory EPAS motor housings suffer from inherent design vulnerability. Power steering to the vehicle was locked up with dashboard warning. Jaguar Monroeville has confirmed need for new steering rack, tie rods, etc costing $8900 including labor. There were no warnings prior to failure as the issue arose when driving in the rain. There is an active community of over 1800 JLR drivers called JLR Power Steering Alliance Group on Facebook fighting this issue with proposed class action lawsuits. Jaguar is inconsistently applying some goodwill assistance. A…
electrical power steering motors, failed. I quickly became unable to turn the vehicle at a rate which was necessary to drive safely. Well seeing how I still turn the vehicle on and it still says power steering failure or loss of power or whatever it is yes. There are warning lamps and messages on the dash it has not been inspected by a manufacturer police or insurance representative No they anything prior to it
The contact owns a 2019 Jaguar F-Pace. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the message that the engine was overheating was displayed and the engine started overheating. The vehicle was pulled over to the shoulder of the roadway. The contact allowed the engine to cool down. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and was diagnosed with a coolant out pipe failure. The contact was informed that the failure caused the failure of the thermostat, water pump, and the gas oil separator. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact referenced Technical Service Bulletin: JLRTB02027NAS3, which had a similar failure description. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The con…
The contact owns a 2020 Jaguar F-Pace. The contact stated that while parked or while driving on several occasions, the rear passenger-side seat belt strap became loose and failed to retract as needed, requiring the contact to fiddle with the seat belt until it retracted. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and to the dealer, but the failure could not be replicated. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V667000 (Seat Belts). The failure mileage was unknown.
My car showed charge battery and then it stalled on a busy highway. Had to charge battery and then the dash flashed D for drive and would not go into gear. Now I have no car because it seems to be the recall and there is no resolution at this time.
The contact owns a 2017 Jaguar F-Pace. The contact stated while driving 55 MPH, the low coolant warning light was illuminated. The contact pulled over to the side of the road and parked the vehicle. The message "Engine Overheating" was displayed, forcing the contact to turn off the vehicle. The contact was picked up to purchase coolant. The contact returned and added coolant to the vehicle. The vehicle was driven to the dealer, where the engine was taken apart under extended warranty coverage. The dealer diagnosed and determined that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired at the contact's expense. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but denied assistance. The fai…
The heating element on the driverâs seat burned a hole in my seat through my sweater while I was driving. Burning smell was not sure where it was coming from. I almost caused an accident trying to maneuver over off the exit to see that my seat warmer is what was causing the Burning smell almost burned me.
On 5/18, I was reversing into a parking spot and my steering rack completely locked to the right, with no warning and while in motion, causing me to strike a parked vehicle. The car had to be towed and dealership mechanic said steering rack had an internal mechanical failure and needs replacement. After doing some research, I found forums of numerous people who have had this same issue. This is a known issue by Jaguar for this particular make model and year and they refuse to issue a recall. I had driven on the highway earlier that day and this could have caused a deadly accident had it happened at that time. This is a real safety hazzard for owners and others on the road.
Repair instructions and other communications the manufacturer sent dealers about known issues. A TSB is not a recall, and the repair is usually free only while the car is under warranty; ask your dealer for the bulletin number.

Software Over The Air (SOTA) updates are failing to complete. Specifically Vehicle Domain Controller (VDC) PIVI and Gateway Module A (GWM). These vehicles have now been stopped from further SOTA attempts and require a wired intervention.
NHTSA’s Office of Defects Investigation opens these when complaints point to a possible safety defect. Many end in a recall.
From 2000 through 2017, Takata produced millions of air bag inflators using two types of phase-stabilized ammonium nitrate ("PSAN") propellant -- propellant 2004 and propellant 2004L. After prolonged exposure to high temperature cycles and humidity, inflators using propellant 2004 can degrade, causing the propellant to burn too quickly when ignited. The rapid burning can cause the inflator to rupture during deployment, potentially causing serious or even fatal injury to vehicle occupants. See 20

In complaints filed with NHTSA for model years 2016–2026, owners most often name: engine, electrical system, fuel/propulsion system. 137 complaints are on record.
No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
