On [XXX], I was operating (bobtail) truck number [XXX] and needed to complete some tasks outside the truck. I set the parking brakes by pulling the yellow valve out. The truck didnât make the usual loud noise we hear every time we set the brakes. After a couple of minutes of reviewing the documentation I was supposed to drop off at that location, I stepped out of the truck with the key in my pocket and walked away from it. When I was about 100 feet away from the truck, I saw it rolling down on my right side. I went to recover the truck, and the first thing I checked was the yellow valves. Both valves were pulled out. I put the key in the ignition and started the truck. I pressed the yellow…
The contact was the operator of a 2025 International LT62F company vehicle. The contact stated that on several occasions while driving with another truck in front of the vehicle that was attempting to slow down from at least 200 feet away, the automatic braking system erroneously activated, causing a false positive reaction with the brakes warning system detecting a possible crash with a brick wall, causing the Autonomous Braking and Lane Assist system to slam on the brakes of the tractor and the trailer. The contact stated that the force caused the vehicle to slide to the left, with the momentum of the trailer being hauled. There was no accident reported. The contact sustained a strain of t…

I have researched on NHTSA and found recalls (Connecting Rod May Crack and Cause Engine Failure) that relate to my problem i'm having with my truck.
When driving down the road and if there are steel plates on the road the truck will alert and slam the brakes on.

Steering intermittently goes into a shake/ shimmy at various speeds, frequently on curves. Steering wheel will shake and occasionally it gets intense enough for items in the cab of the truck to shake violently. Symptoms match NHTSA document IK0500038. 2 dealerships have been innefectual in addressing the issues. The problem started around 42,000 miles and persists currently at 71,000 miles. The truck has been back multiple times for this issue and is now up to 6 weeks of down time with no improvement. None of the International dealers have voluntarily given me any documentation to keep for my records.

This document provides instructions for sealing oil leakage past the flywheel bolt holes on S13 engines. Oil leaking from behind the crankshaft gear may exit through the flywheel bolt holes and is often misdiagnosed as a rear crankshaft seal leak. This condition is confirmed by oil-saturated flywheel bolts and visible oil pooling in the flywheel bolt holes behind the gear.

No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
