- Problem
- Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Lineage recreational vehicles. The driver and passenger seat bases may have not been tightened properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 207, “Seating Systems.”
- Risk
- A loose base may allow the seat to move during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
- Fix
- Dealers will inspect and properly tighten the seat bases as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 15, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall M910060.

- Risk
- A detached solar panel can become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Fix

- Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Lineage motorhomes. The entry door position switch may not make adequate contact to read that the door is closed, which allows the steps to deploy unexpectedly.
- Risk
- Steps extending while in transit increase the risk of a crash.
- Fix

- Risk
- Door latch failure may prevent occupants from exiting the vehicle in an emergency, increasing the risk of injury.
- Fix

- Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2025 Lineage 25FW motorhomes. The battery warming pad was installed incorrectly, which can damage internal wiring and cause an electrical short.
- Risk
- An electrical short increases the risk of a fire.
- Fix

“On 6/30/25 I originally reported the Safety Issue (Case #11670309). The engine dies while driving. The display indicates "Low Fuel Pressure" and the Check Engine light comes on. The vehicle has been to the Ford Service Center several times for repair.”
