Axel failure. Took my trailer into the shop because the wheels were leaning inward and eating tires unevenly. The trailer mechanic said I had to replace both axels!! They were undersized from the manufacture. Extremely unsafe and very likely could have caused an accident while towing.
Out frame is bent on both sides above the shackles towards the driver side about 5â. Insurance said it wear and tear. We do traveling healthcare and are stuck outside of an area we can work as itâs where we stay when on contract. We canât find anywhere to work on it either.
ST235/80R16 Tire Load rang E Before going on a trip, I noticed the tire had lost about 10 lbs of pressure compared to the other tires. I found no leak or hazard in the tire, like a screw or nail, so I raised the tire to pressure. (80 psi) While travelling at 60 mph I noticed the tire's temperature was about 8 - 10 degrees hotter than the other tires, but still within acceptable range. After arriving at my destination 80 minutes later I inspected the tire again and noticed the center of the tread was bulging out all around the tire. I removed the wheel and tire, took it to a tire dealer, and had it replaced with a Goodyear Endurance. The dealer said it was a cord separation.
In the late part of 2020 the door frame to the room in the rear fell from the ceiling onto the ground, that was determined by the company(MagicTouch) I bought it from that the manufacturer(Forest River)had not properly secured the frame to the ceiling, the screws missed the truss rafters and were only screwed in the ceiling material which is only about 1/4" thick, Forest River did pay to have it repaired. Again something very similar occurred to one of the bunkbeds in that same room, I entered my trailer to prep it for our 2022 Easter vacation and noticed that one of the bunkbeds had collapsed from the wall and fall on top of the sofa bed that is located directly below it, if this would of h…
Two component issues on 2010 Forest River 31THSB 1 - Lippert axle hub brake drum failure. Multiple failures of these axles and Lippert have not issued a recall. My trailer lost the wheel from the axle, with the brake drum still attached to the wheel. Fortunately, we were not traveling at highway speed. Tire rolled underneath the trail causing damage to the side and underside of trailer. Lippert are aware of these constant axle failures and their solution is to sell you two axles for the price of one. 3-to-4-week delivery! Does not include the property damage, or take in account we where 3000 miles from home. 2 â Lippert frame and wing supports, where pin box is mounted to the frame of tra…

WHILE TRAVELING ON INTERSTATE 75 BELOW LEXINGTON KY, I EXPERIENCED TWO BLOWOUTS ON EACH SIDE OF MY CAMPER 3 MONTHS APART. I HAVE HAD THE CAMPER FOR THREE YEARS AND THE TIRES ARE ONLY 3 1/2 YEARS OLD WITH GOOD TREAD ON THEM. I CONTACTED THE COMPANY AND RECEIVED NO RESULTS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 FOREST RIVER WILDCAT MAXX. WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH, THE FRONT PASSENGER WHEEL STUDS AND TIRE DETACHED FROM THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE STUDS WERE DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED ALONG WITH THE TIRE. THE VEHICLE WAS REMEDIED. THE DEALER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 3,000.
Repair instructions and other communications the manufacturer sent dealers about known issues. A TSB is not a recall, and the repair is usually free only while the car is under warranty; ask your dealer for the bulletin number.
This is a product service bulletin from Global Link concerning counterfeit keys for entry doors being sold on certain websites. Forest River is reporting as we are sharing with the dealer body.

According to a Furrion TSB "TB-220919": Irregular cooling performance has been reported on the identified refrigerators. The refrigerator compressor has been found to stop working and requires a ÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂhard resetÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂàby disconnecting power to reset cooling operation. On occasion, disconnecting power does not reset operation and the refrigerator requires service replacement of the control boards. This TSB may not be applicable for some vehicles.
As per Lippert Components Technical Service Bulletin 11-004-21. The slide room actuator was assembled incorrectly, which may cause the room to become stuck in the out position and prevent from fully retracting.
It was discovered that the manufacturing plant did not cut a stress relief line in the upper deck Driver Side and in on certain models, Passenger Side under the slide room(s). The upper deck in the Impression Fifth-Wheel needs to flex, without the "stress relief cut" the sidewall filon may crack under the slide room(s).
The pleated shades covering the windows may retract on their own.
As Per Lippert Components; Specific 8800 Series windows installed in your recreational vehicle may potentially leak. The windows will be remedied by a Forest River Dealer.

Source: NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation public data (complaints, manufacturer communications, investigations), model years 2010 and later. Had a safety problem? Report it to NHTSA.
In complaints filed with NHTSA for model years 2010–2024, owners most often name: wheels, suspension, tires. 24 complaints are on record.
No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
