I have had to replace my tires with less than 5K on them because the leaf spring on the right rear of my RV trailer has flattened out and caused my tires to rub the underside of the camper causing smoke. This appears to be a common problem with my RV trailer (2019 Forest River Surveyor), and the company has told me this is a critical component and will not give me any information about part replacement. I have been advised by my warranty company not to try to pull this until it fixed due to the hazard it would cause if the spring broke. Meanwhile I have 20K Camper that I can't even put on the highway. I think they should recall these junk springs and replace them
I bought my camper new in 2019 at Keystone RV, Pennsylvania, and last year on 8/7/2022 I had one of my tires blow up on the way home from a camping trip. Even though I have never seen a tire look like the one that blew, at that time I simply went ahead and had the tire replaced at the dealer I bought the camper at. All other tires looked still O.K. at the time the road side assistance person put the spare on and when the new tire was installed later. Since this was already at the end of the season I winterized and stored the camper. However, this year as I wanted to de-winterize my camper I noticed that the remaining 4 original tires (including the spare) have severely deteriorated to the po…
We purchased four new National brand Road Max E trailer tires (ST225/75 R1S) on 08/26/22. Since purchase, we have driven less than 750 miles. On 01/06/23, while driving on a county road at approximately 45 miles per hour, the front passenger side tire on the trailer blew out. The entire tread came off in one piece causing superficial damage to the side of our trailer but ruining the rim. Prior to leaving our home, my husband checked the tiresâ pressure and visually inspected all four and found no issues. It does not appear we ran over anything. Luckily, we were travelling at a slower speed, otherwise, we could have been injured and/ or injured others on the road. A basically new tir…
The line to the propane tank disconnected from the brass fitting causing a free release of propane into the enclosed shop where I store the camper.
Brake drum assembly and wheel fell off my RV on a smooth highway because Lippert did not install a locking cotter pin. Lippert denied the warranty claim, stating it was a bearing failure. Further, the shower drain and outdoor kitchen drains were broken and Forest River has a recall on them. The tires on the 2019 we dated 012018 and all blew out in 2021. The tires are 6-lug but the spare was a 5-lug. Having blowouts and a losing a wheel at 60mph could have seriously injured or killed someone. How is that this level of crap quality is allowed?!? Lippert denied the warranty claim stating that it was bearing failure. How does a bearing failure cause a wheel and brake drum assemble to fall off? …
The propane refrigerator shuts off and does not restart. This occurs everyone one to two hours. My selling Dealer and I have received no help in resolving this issue from the refrigerator manufacturer (Norcold) or the trailer manufacturer (Forest River). We believe it to be a significant safety issue that could cause a fire or explosion in the trailer.
The contact owns a 2018 Forest River Surveyor. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the headlights became inoperable. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact owns a 2018 Forest River Surveyor RV equipped with Castle Rock tires, Tire Line: Radial ST22, Tires Size: 205/75/R14, DOT JUJTYMT2017. The contact stated while driving approximately 65 mph, the passengerâs side front tire had experienced a blowout. Less than two years later, the other three tires and the spare tire experienced the same failure. The contact indicated that the spare tire experienced the failure while being mounted onto the tire carrier and was not being used at the time of the failure. The cause of the failures was not yet determined. The manufacturer and local dealer were not notified of the failure. The tire failure mileage was 4,500. The consumer provided of p…

The window may not have the appropriate amount of sealant on the extrusion edges, which may allow water infiltration.
According to a Furrion TSB "TB-220919": Irregular cooling performance has been reported on the identified refrigerators. The refrigerator compressor has been found to stop working and requires a ÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂhard resetÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂàby disconnecting power to reset cooling operation. On occasion, disconnecting power does not reset operation and the refrigerator requires service replacement of the control boards. This TSB may not be applicable for some vehicles.
The fireplace and microwave may be wired to the same 15AMP breaker and bypass the transfer switch.
The water heaters electric element is wired incorrectly at the control panel switch. If a user attempts to turn the electric element on, the switch will only illuminate.
As per Lippert Components Technical Service Bulletin 11-004-21. The slide room actuator was assembled incorrectly, which may cause the room to become stuck in the out position and prevent from fully retracting.
It was discovered that the manufacturing plant did not cut a stress relief line in the upper deck Driver Side and in on certain models, Passenger Side under the slide room(s). The upper deck in the Impression Fifth-Wheel needs to flex, without the "stress relief cut" the sidewall filon may crack under the slide room(s).
The P-Trap swivel fitting may crack during normal use, potentially allowing water to leak, which may lead to premature degradation of any non-water resistant components.

In complaints filed with NHTSA for model years 2012–2024, owners most often name: equipment, tires, unknown or other. 20 complaints are on record.
No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
