The contact owns a 2020 Forest River Dynamax Isata 3 built on a 2018 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 chassis. The contact stated that the TPMS was malfunctioning and failed to provide accurate readings for all tires, with the alarm sounding. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but the cause of the failure could not be determined. The contact became aware of Forest River Technical Service Bulletin: 55-1097. The contact stated that the manufacturer had previously failed to disclose that there was a TSB related to the failure. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who advised the contact that the VIN was not included in a recall associated with the failure. Additionally, the dealer informed the con…
THE ONAN DIESEL GENSET IS INSTALLED WITH THE LOWER ACCESS HATCH OF THE GENSET BLOCKED BY THE FRAME OF THE VEHICLE. IT IS UNABLE TO BE OPENED FOR ROUTINE SERVICE & MAINTENANCE PER THE ONAN GUIDELINES DUE TO SHODDY WORKMANSHIP ON THE PART OF DYNAMAX.
3 ST235/80R16 TOMAX 10 PLY TIRES BLEW OUT WITH LESS THAN 10,000 MILES AND 8/32 TREAD DEPTH. WE HAD 3 SEPARATE BLOWOUTS IN THE COURSE OF A 14 DAY PERIOD. ALL INVOLVED BELT SEPARATION
WHILE MAKING A SHARP 90 DEGREE PLUS RIGHT TURN ON A CITY STREET MOVING AT LESS THAN 5 MPH THE TORQUE CAUSED BY THE TURN CAUSED THE CURB SIDE REAR SPRING HANGER (LIPPERT COMPONENTS INC, LCI CORRECT TRACK SUSPENSION SYSTEM) TO DETACH FROM THE RV FRAME AND BROKE THE SPRING EYE COMPLETELY OFF. THE STREET SIDE SPRING HANGER BENT AND WAS PARTIALLY REMOVED FROM THE FRAME. WHILE CAREFULLY DRIVING TO A REPAIR FACILITY THE RIGHT SIDE COMPLETELY DETACHED FROM THE FRAME. ONLY THE SPRING SHACKLES ATTACHED TO THE EQUALIZERS KEPT THE REAR AXLE FROM FALLING OFF COMPLETELY. MY OPINION IS THAT THE FRAME MANUFACTURER (LCI) USES A SPRING HANGER THAT IS TOO LIGHT OF A GRADE AND THICKNESS AND THE SPRING BOLT…
LAST WEEK I WAS PULLING MY 2013 CRUSADER MODEL 29RLT 5TH WHEEL RV FROM PALMETTO FL. TO JOLIET IL. I HAD AIR THE TIRE TO THE MFG. RECOMMENDED AIR PRESSURE 80 PSI AND THE TRAILOR WAS NOT OVERLOADED. I GOT ABOUT 50 MILES INTO MY TRIP WHEN I NOTICED SMOKE COMING FROM THE TIRES. I PULLED OVER AND INSPECTED THE TIRES AND FOUND 3 OF THE 4 TIRES THE TREAD HAD STARTED TO SEPARATE FROM THE BODY OF THE TIRE. THE SPARE WAS USED ALONG WITH 3 NEW TIRES, IT BLEWOUT AFTER 700 MILES. THE TIRES ARE TOWMASTER 235/80R16 DOT #P3B5 GPB0212. THESE TIRES ARE VERY UNSAFE AND SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM THE MARKET. IT WAS JUST LUCK THAT NOBODY WAS HURT OR PROPERTY DAMAGED. THE TIRES EXCLUDING THE SPARE HAD 7000 MILES AN…
RIVETS IN THE CAMPER STAIRS WERE REPLACED WITH BOLTS AS SPECIFIED IN THE ACTIVE RECALL. I INSPECTED UNIT BEFORE PICKING BACK UP FROM THE SELLING DEALERSHIP. THE LOWER STEP IN THE STAIRCASE MAKE A LOUD POP WHEN YOU STEP ON IT WHILE EITHER ASCENDING OR DESCENDING THE STAIRCASE. I HAVE CALLED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP ([XXX]) AT FOREST RIVER DYNAMAX AND ALSO SENT AN E-MAIL TO HIM ABOUT THE RECALL REPAIR NOT MAKING SATISFACTORY REPAIRS TO THE STEPS ON MY NEW CAMPER. I AM SCARED THAT MY WIFE WILL LOSE HER BALANCE AND FALL DUE TO THE EXCESSIVE AMOUNT THAT THESE STEPS GIVE WHEN WEIGHT IS PLACED ON THE BOTTOM STEP, BUT I AM NOT GETTING ANY RESPONSE FROM THE MANUFACTURER AND THE SELLING DEALER ABO…
Repair instructions and other communications the manufacturer sent dealers about known issues. A TSB is not a recall, and the repair is usually free only while the car is under warranty; ask your dealer for the bulletin number.

FCA US has decided that certain vehicles fail to conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 106 - Brake hoses. Constriction requirement states, "Except for that part of an end fitting which does not contain hose, every inside diameter of any section of a hydraulic brake hose assembly shall be not less than 64 percent of the nominal inside diameter of the brake hose." Brake hoses that have an out of specification orifice diameter have an inside diameter that is less than the 64 percent requirement.
The awning while deployed, may not retract in a wind event, due to the wind sensor potentially having the power bypassed and shut off.
Per DTNA recall FL888 21V369 and 21V370; The tie rod clamp may be loose due to the supplied lock nuts being over-crimped. This can cause thread galling of the bolt and nut during installation. When galling occurs, it is possible that assembly torque may be achieved but the clamp is still loose. The tie rod clamp being loose could lead to the threaded tie rod ends becoming loose and eventual steering loss if the rod end pulls out of the tie rod, or the tube is broken due to vibration of the loose joint, creating the risk of crash.
The flanged wheel lug nuts on your vehicle may have been over-torqued during service to an incorrect torque specification in the Service & Owner's manuals. A yielded wheel stud may eventually break, which could lead to a wheel separating from the vehicle during operation. A wheel separating from the vehicle could cause a vehicle crash without prior warning and/or the wheel/tire could pose a risk to other vehicles or pedestrians.
Per FCAâÃÂÃÂs Recall 21V439, the engine calibration software may not warn of low oil volume.
The transmission control module software in your vehicle may cause the transmission to slip or will not go into gear at all. In addition, the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) may illuminate on the cluster.
The retaining washer and bolt that connect the brake pedal to the bearing block may come loose and detach. This could cause the brake lights to stay illuminated, even when the brake pedal is not pressed.
It was discovered that the manufacturing plant did not cut a stress relief line in the upper deck Driver Side and in on certain models, Passenger Side under the slide room(s). The upper deck in the Impression Fifth-Wheel needs to flex, without the "stress relief cut" the sidewall filon may crack under the slide room(s).
The add on component separates the tail light signal from an actual brake signal so the customers no longer need to mess with their brake controller when towing as the Freightliner M2 Chassis applies brake signal to the four-way flashers, which in turn will activate the brakes of a towed item, such as a trailer. In some states, it is required to activate the vehicle four-way flashers on certain Grades.
Relocation of the Mobileye Fuse.
Per notice from Cummins, the engine may be releasing air pollutants, which exceed California and Federal Standards.

In complaints filed with NHTSA for model years 2012–2021, owners most often name: tires, structure, equipment. 6 complaints are on record.
No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
