On [XXX], after arriving at our campground in Tok, Alaska, the main entry-door latch/handle on our 2023 Fleetwood Bounder motorhome failed completely. I parked the motorhome in front of the campground office. When I attempted to open the main entry door by lifting the door handle, the handle broke off and came completely into my hand. The door would no longer open. There were four people inside the motorhome, and none of us could open the main entry door. We were effectively trapped inside the RV through the primary entrance. Because we could not open the door, I climbed out through the passenger-side window so that I could get outside and retrieve tools. While climbing out of the window,…
At speed, on an interstate highway, a front right wheel bearing failure occurred. Vehicle was safely stopped and had to be towed to a Ford repair facility. Replacement of front right wheel bearings, hub, spindle assembly, brake caliper and pads were needed to fix the damage. Vehicle had less than 32000 miles and does not sit for long periods.
I purchased 2025 Fleetwood Bounder on 8/9/2025 , it has had multiple repairs since date of purchase. main concern is loose passenger seat. Because i've had extended loss of use due to ongoing repairs, the dispute resolution Administrator told me my RV was safe to use while awaiting passenger seat replacement. That is false( FMVSS ) I have not had use of my RV since day of purchase over 6 months ago. Rev Group does not want to give me a replacement, so they suggested I continue to use it even though it is unsafe. I reported the issue 8/12/2025, I believe it was miscommunicated therefor it was not recorded until 11/17/25, however replacement was not ordered until 2/3/2026
My right rear inside tire valve stem will not allow air into it. Most likely an valve extension is faulty. The risk could result with air escaping. I Had serviice done on 7/21/2025. The service could only get some air in. Notable. They could read current presure. See service report.
Upon inspecting the bottom of my RV after my trip. I noticed the following: Rear sway bar bushing/ saddle bracket became loose. Lost 1 bolt (bottom) and the other (upper) bolt is loose. The upper bolt holding the rubber bushing and saddle bracket and saddle bracket is bent. 2016 Fleetwood Bounder 35K.
Dash Cluster Short. Replaced due to safety concerns by independent repair shop. Warning light for brake boost (transmission brake) came on with motor running which also told ecm that the parking brake was engaged. This left the possibility of slides and or leveling legs to activate since the motor had to be running and parking brake set to activate the slides and the leveling legs. After replacing the whole dash cluster the check engine light came on. The code indicated that three cylinders were miss firing. Took MH back to the same auto shop and after 40 hours of checking everything that could possibly cause a misfire they could not get codes to clear. The MH was road tested after each comp…

Source: NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation public data (complaints, manufacturer communications, investigations), model years 2010 and later. Had a safety problem? Report it to NHTSA.
In complaints filed with NHTSA for model years 2010–2025, owners most often name: equipment, structure, suspension. 36 complaints are on record.
No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
