THE RIGHT REAR TAIL LIGHTS AND BLINKER DO NOT WORK DUE TO A DAMAGED (PDM) POWER DISTRIBUTION MODULE. HOW DOES THIS HUGE SAFETY ISSUE CONTINUE WITH NO SUPPORT AFTER 5 MONTHS? CAN YOU PLEASE TELL WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THIS RECALL. I ALSO HAD TO HAVE RECALL #20V-529 REPAIRED AT MY LOCAL TIRE STORE AS THE VALVE STEM WAS NEARLY CUT OFF AND HAVE YET TO BE REIMBURSED BY DAIMLER TRUCKS NORTH AMERICA LLC.

Brake lights that do not function correctly may not notify motorists of a braking event, which may lead to an increase risk of crash. No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
