The front cap was not properly installed on the passenger's side of the vehicle. Yes vehicle is available for inspection if needed. If the front cap came completely separated from passengers side of the the main body it could shift and obstruct the drivers ability to see out the front windshield. If it came completely detached it could again obstruct the drivers view and fall on the roadway possibly in the path of either oncoming traffic and/or traffic following vehicle. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V404000 (Electrical System, Exterior Lighting) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
