I am reporting a severe, repeating, and life-threatening safety defect involving the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis on my 2020 Entegra Qwest motorhome. The vehicle intermittently and without warning drops into "limp mode" while traveling at highway speeds. When this occurs, the vehicle suffers a sudden, drastic loss of propulsion, forcing the motorhome down to dangerously low speeds on active, high-speed roadways. TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) - The battery isolation manager connections require a repair. The improper connection can result in a parasitic drain on the chassis battery and a nuisance check engine light on the dash. Once the battery isolation manager connections are properly repaired, the chassis battery drain will be eliminated.
