We had our third different window adhesive bonds fail. Which is the same issue as the recall below. The mfg has stated that they will not cover this issue. Had a windows fall off the motorhome while driving, we did not realize it was missing until we arrived at the next campground . Our 2018 was one of the last 2018 build by ENTEGRA has the same issue as the 2019 recall NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V529000. After the first failure, I checked the other windows and found a second failed window. Have contacted Lippert Customer Care Center and they will not provide any type of support to have this issue fixed.
The rear bathroom window, on the left side (driverâs side), separated and fell off the coach. The incident was not observed in real time but discovered after a stop at an RV park. The window fell off somewhere along a busy Interstate. This is a potential hazardous if not life threatening condition. There is a recall for these windows (NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V529000), but apparently my coach was manufactured before the manufacturer complete day. Below is the details on that particular window: WINDOW,18X24 7690 BLK Lippert Components (LCI) part number of V000512571 As you might expect I am terrified that another window might separate and damage another vehicle, or worse cause serious …
Blind spot warning is supposed to detect a vehicle at the rear bumper to the front of the motorhome. There are 3 units on each side of my motorhome, rear/middle/front. It detects a vehicle at the front quarter of the motorhome only. I have contacted Entegra for 6 months now with no results. Questioning other owners and many say they do not work properly but pay no attention to them. I use these warning lights and have been in near accidents at least four times already! I am very concerned because if I do get in an accident due to this system not working properly I would be at fault. This system is very important especially when driving at night or at dusk when some vehicles do not hav…
The contact owns a 2016 Entegra Anthem Motorhome. The contact received a recall notification for NHTSA Campaign Number: 16V761000 (Equipment) and the RV was taken to the dealer for recall repair. The dealer replaced the Tempurpedic Sealy Mattress with a new Sleep Number Mattress; however, the dealer advised the contact that there was a piece missing from the new Sleep Number Mattress. The contact also noticed that the mattress was deflated because the plug was too small and would disconnect whenever she opened and closed the slide outs. The contact stated upon arriving to her residence, she noticed that the mattress was deflated on one side and could not retain air after she had refilled it …
The contact owns a 2019 Entegra Anthem. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 21E032000 (Fuel System, Diesel). The contact stated that the dealer was made aware of the recall but informed the contact that they were unable to perform recall repairs on motorhomes. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
Having heard rumors for some time of the dreaded DEF shut down while using our motorcoach, without a recall of the unit , we have to assume the coach is safe to use. Ours had been parked in the storage building for about 10 days. Yesterday I went to get it out. When I started the coach it immediately turned on the check engine warning. It threw 3 codes, SPN#3374, SPN#3031, & SPN#1761. Iâm told the engine will derate first by 25%, next it debates by 40%, then finally to limp mode of 5 mile per hour. If this had happened the week before I would have had a wife and two dogs, in 95 degree weather with no engine, no air conditioning and about 250 miles from home. When I contacted the manufacture…
The DEF head sensor failed giving a warning that the engine would be derated if the engine was not shut off. The safety hazard with a derated engine is that 5 mph is top speed, not only endangering my vehicle, plus other vehicles near by. The head sensor was replaced by Cummins after purchasing a replacement tank with a new head sensor attached. The purchase was made from Spartan, the manufacturer of the Chasis. Individual head sensors were not available due to a nationwide shortage. I was first made aware of a problem when a DEF warning buzzard and a check engine light started while driving down the interstate. I checked the DEF tank and found it to be 3/4 full and no leaks or noticeable …

In complaints filed with NHTSA for model years 2010–2026, owners most often name: engine, fuel/propulsion system, structure. 22 complaints are on record.
No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
