Cracked Frame. On June 13th, 2022 I was made aware through social media to check for a possible cracked frame do to others having similar issues. After investigation I found major cracks in my DRVâs left and right gussets. These were visible both standing on the front landing legs and while attached to the tow vehicle. Safety. Cracked frame could cause the whole front to completely crack and collapse causing the front legs to drag and cause accident & more. Has been confirmed with my last known count to be 25 units plus having same issue. Lippert came and made temporary repair for my transportation back to the manufacturer (at my cost ) for assessment and repair. Warnings. M…

Federal defect investigations
NHTSA’s Office of Defects Investigation opens these when complaints point to a possible safety defect. Many end in a recall.
- Wheel Separations (Broken Studs)
EA11-007 is closed with the submission of recall campaign 12V-028 submitted by DRV.The population included in the campaign action includes 1,701 model year 2008, 2010, and early-2011 DRV models Select, Mobile, and Elite Suite DRV motor homes equipped with disc brakes. Questions
What are the most common Drv Mobile problems?
In complaints filed with NHTSA for model years 2011–2022, owners most often name: service brakes, unknown or other, structure. 19 complaints are on record.
Is a complaint or a TSB the same as a recall?
No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
How do I report a problem with my Drv Mobile?
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
