What Dodge Dart owners have reported to NHTSA, the service bulletins the manufacturer sent dealers, and any federal defect investigations, by model year. See Dodge Dart safety recalls or check your VIN.
Complaints owners filed with NHTSA, by the model year of the vehicle. A high count can also mean a popular year, so compare it with how many were sold.

After drive for short distance the car through a error code for transmission and put the car into neutral then will not crank over for short time till it cooled down dealer saying it the tcm/valve body issue car has previously had repair down for recall involving the tcm but the car still has issues and fiat Chrysler won't fix the issue
I was previously notified of safety recall for the transmission shift cable failure (Manufacturer Recall Number A0C; NHTSA Recall Number 25V-674) that was announced on Oct 09, 2025. It's been nearly 1 year and there still isn't a remedy available (Today's date 9/28/26) "Recall Status: Recall Incomplete, remedy not yet available." My car has not experienced this failure yet, but the prolonged waiting for a remedy is making me nervous. It seems like 1 year is a reasonable time to wait before becoming frustrated about the lack of a remedy.
Vehicle is completely immobilized due to an unaddressed manufacturer safety recall (Recall A0C / Shift Cable Bushing). The manufacturer (FCA US LLC / Stellantis) states that official recall remedy parts remain unreleased and unavailable. The manufacturer refuses to provide direct corporate-billed interim transportation or corporate towing to an authorized dealership, insisting on out-of-pocket payment and reimbursement schemes. When challenged on zero-cost recall remedy mandates under 49 U.S.C. § 30120, corporate management executed a forced call termination.

On Aug 30, 2026, my 2015 Dodge Dart suddenly became stuck when the gear wouldnât shift out of park. The shift lever would move, but it felt loose. This obviously rendered the vehicle undrivable. As this happened on a Sunday night, I had no choice but to call AAA to get the car towed home that night, and again later that week (Sep 2) to get it towed to the dealership when they scheduled an appointment for me to bring in the vehicle. This failure is directly related to open NHTSA recall 25V674 (Chrysler recall A0C), covering the transmission shifter cable/bushing on 2013â2016 Dodge Dart vehicles. This is the same component addressed by an earlier recall (19V293/Chrysler V34), which was p…

In complaints filed with NHTSA for model years 2012–2016, owners most often name: power train, engine, electrical system. 2,520 complaints are on record.
No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
