The parking brake cable was too tight as described in Ford SSM-51050. We travelled 200 miles each way to an RV dealer to repair and paid out of pocket. Ford instructed us to take the vehicle to a certified repair shop to fix since there is no Ford dealer in Washington state that would work on this chassis issue. The repair shop fixed the parking brake cable and it is now in working order. I requested Ford reimburse us for this repair ($434.00) and they have ignored every request. This was an issue from the day purchased in June 2025 and we continually tried to find help to fix it. We were never informed of the SSM-51050 until I found it online after we had paid for the repair. This was …
This is a 2023 Coachmen Pursuit Class A RV MFG by Forest River I was driving at night on I-95N in southern Georgia. Light rain. My speed was 10 mph below posted speed limit. After going over some highway bumps I was hit/bumped in the head. Next I notice my view of the road is slowly going away from the top down. I have maybe 18â remaining above the dash to see the road. This is when I notice itâs the overhead fold down bunk above the drivers seat. I pull it back and up to clear my view. Holding it as high as I can with one arm and the steering wheel with the other. I am unable to pull over because of shoulder construction or stop because of traffic. After screaming for my wife who …
We have a 2020 F53 V8 under the 2021 Coachmen Pursuit with 25k miles on it. A few months ago, I noticed some extra engine noise midway under the rig. When I crawled under to inspect, I found the muffler had shifted aft at least an inch causing the lap joint (between Catalytic Converter and muffler) to spread enough to present a leak. One of the rubber stoppers was up against the frame and all the support hooks had traveled through there rubber holders to near full travel. I loosened up the clamp and had my beefy son pull it back forward, then retighten the clamp. After the first 100 miles it was fine. Then after the second 100 miles, it has slid back again. I will be personally retrofitting …

THE RIGHT TRAVEL LOCK BRACKET (INTO WHICH A SAFETY PIN IS INSERTED) OF THE ELECTRIC BED, WHICH IS ABOVE THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER SEATS, BROKE IN HALF WHILE DRIVING ( ON INTERSTATE AT 70 MPH). THE BED WAS IN THE RETRACTED POSITION. THIS BED IS APPROX 7.5 FT BY 4.5 FT, AND WITH ATTACHED CABINETS, WEIGHS OVER 100 LBS. IT APPEARS THAT WHAT KEPT THE FRAME FROM FALLING MORE WAS THE WIRE TO THE PIN WAS WRAPPED AROUND THE BED FRAME. HAD THE LEFT SIDE FALLEN, THIS INCIDENT COULD HAVE CAUSED LOSS OF CONTROL, RESULTING IN A SERIOUS ACCIDENT. IN ANY CASE, THE CURRENT CONFIGURATION OF THIS BED, AND ITS LOCATION, IS UNSAFE, GIVEN THE DEFECTIVE BRACKET/TRAVEL LOCK DESIGN. WE HAVE NOT OPERATED THIS BED S…

ON 7/16/15 I WAS TRAVELING FROM NY CITY TO AUBURN NY. AFTER PULLING INTO A CAMP GROUND IN AUBURN NY IT CAME TO MY ATTENTION THAT THE EXTERNAL COMPONENTS [QUICK RELEASE PINS] OF MY RECENTLY PURCHASED BLUE OX TOWING SYSTEM WERE GONE. UPON REALIZING THIS CONDITION I KNEW THE SAFETY HAZARD HAD OCCURRED AT AN EARLIER POINT WHILE IN ROUTE. MY FIRST ACTION WAS TO CALL THE MANUFACTURE TO ADVISE THEM OF THE SITUATION. AFTER SOME DISCUSSION RELATING TO THE TRUTHFULNESS OF MY CLAIM THEY STATED THEY WOULD OVERNIGHT THE APPROPRIATE PARTS TO REPAIR THE SITUATION. AFTER 48 HOURS WITH NO DELIVERY I DROVE MY RV HOME AND MY WIFE DROVE OUR CAR. A SUBSEQUENT DELIVERY WAS MADE TO THE ADDRESS I PROVIDED THE…
Repair instructions and other communications the manufacturer sent dealers about known issues. A TSB is not a recall, and the repair is usually free only while the car is under warranty; ask your dealer for the bulletin number.
This is a product service bulletin from Global Link concerning counterfeit keys for entry doors being sold on certain websites. Forest River is reporting as we are sharing with the dealer body.
According to Ford Recall 23V510: "Affected vehicles have Smart Data Link Connector modules that may have been exposed to moisture, potentially leading to corrosion in the module, connector, and wire harness. The resulting corrosion may interfere with the vehicleâÃÂÃÂs Controller Area Network (CAN) communication. As a result, the Instrument Panel Cluster may be inoperative." This is the final notice.
According to a Furrion TSB "TB-220919": Irregular cooling performance has been reported on the identified refrigerators. The refrigerator compressor has been found to stop working and requires a ÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂhard resetÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂàby disconnecting power to reset cooling operation. On occasion, disconnecting power does not reset operation and the refrigerator requires service replacement of the control boards. This TSB may not be applicable for some vehicles.

As per Lippert's TSB 85-001-2022 There is a potential for some of the Gen1 jack legs on motorized units to bend or deform under extreme side loads. Note: The notification letter did not change. According to the notice from Ford 22S62: In some of the affected vehicles, the rear stabilizer bar attachment bracket(s) weld-nuts may not be capable of supporting the required joint torque for this application and may have been damaged during the assembly process. During vehicle usage, the weld nuts attaching the rear stabilizer bracket may loosen, and the attachment bracket may break and/or the attachment bolts and the bracket may separate from the vehicle. It is possible that this may result in a road debris hazard.
The rear axle may contain an inadequate volume of lubricating oil. An inadequate volume of rear axle lubricant may result in rear wheel bearing damage potentially leading to bearing seizure. Bearing seizure may lead to rear axle or driveshaft failure. A rear axle or driveshaft failure may result in loss of vehicle motive power, loss of transmission park function, and loss of parking brake function, increasing the risk of a crash.

Per the service bulletin from Dometic ?Dometic Corporation has identified a visual cosmetic defect that has occurred on our Dometic DM2652 refrigerators up in the freezer compartment. This does NOT occur on all units, but may be present on units with serial numbers starting with MB between 805xxxxx and 820XXXXX. The visual cosmetic defect in no way affects the performance, operation, safety, or function of the refrigerator and does not represent a non-compliance issue to one or more of the FMVSS standards or result in a risk of personal injury, death, vehicle crash, or property damage.?
Under certain circumstances the vehicle may lean to one side while empty due to the location of the internal equipment. While this is accounted for during the design, Forest River - Coachmen has developed a shim kit to remove any lean for an owner.
Source: NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation public data (complaints, manufacturer communications, investigations), model years 2010 and later. Had a safety problem? Report it to NHTSA.
In complaints filed with NHTSA for model years 2012–2023, owners most often name: unknown or other, equipment, electrical system. 9 complaints are on record.
No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
