The front drivers headrest spontaneously opened up. It was a quick and loud pop. I was not in the seat when it happened but I was getting ready to sit down. If i was sitting down it would have hit the back of my head very hard and could have hurt me. No warning lamps were on at the time and it has not been inspected but I have pictures
Driver side headrest popped out and plastic pieces are broken inside. I believe there is an investigation for this: Active Head Rest Inadvertent Deployment. It randomly happened the other day while vehicle was parked in garage. Iâm not sure to get the headrest fixed for safety reasons or leave it broken.

While driving my 2016 Chrysler Town & Country around 45mph in active traffic, the vehicle suffered a sudden, catastrophic, and complete loss of motor power. The engine remained running, but the transmission completely lost all hydraulic pressure, leaving me unable to accelerate and leaving me completely stranded in a highly dangerous situation. I am a mother of four children who were inside the vehicle, and this sudden stalling created an imminent crash hazard and an extreme risk to my family's safety. The vehicle was towed to an authorized dealership, Lithia Chrysler in [XXX], for a formal diagnostic check under Chrysler Corporate Case #XXX. The dealership's certified master technician pull…
Was just informed my transmission pump needs to be replaced after hearing an odd humming noise when acceleration occurred. I looked online and saw this was a recall for similar vehicles. Mine did not come up, but it mirrors the same issues that were part of the recall.
The contact owns a 2016 Chrysler Town and Country. While the contactâs spouse was driving, the vehicle stalled in the middle of the road. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, where it was diagnosed with transmission pump failure. The contact was informed that the transmission needed to be replaced. The contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: 16V461000 (Power Train); to the dealer, however the VIN was not included in the recall. The technician from the dealer stated that the failure was associated with the recall. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure was confirmed by the dealer.
I have this vehicle and the drivers side sliding door has locked up completely. I will not unlock or open manually or electrically. I had it in for a diagnostic at a certified body shop in Devils Lake, ND 58301. They say it is the locking mechanism or actuator. I have recently been informed that Chrysler has extended the warranty for thi part to 15 years or 150K. But my vehicle does not show up as having a recall for this. The bulletin number I am referring to is 23-036-21. It covers 2015 and 2016 town and countrys mine is a 2016. How do I get this covered
The contact owns a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country. The contact stated that while pulling out of the parking space or while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle started stalling. The contact stated that the ignition key was loose, and whenever the key was jiggled, the vehicle became inoperable. The contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V373000 (Electrical System, Air Bags); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The dealer was contacted; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 130,000.
Repair instructions and other communications the manufacturer sent dealers about known issues. A TSB is not a recall, and the repair is usually free only while the car is under warranty; ask your dealer for the bulletin number.

In complaints filed with NHTSA for model years 2010–2020, owners most often name: electrical system, engine, power train. 5,189 complaints are on record.
No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
