Possible wiring harness for the air conditioning system that may be damaged and cause a short circuit. Had to air compressors installed and both reasons codes were "shorts". A damaged A/C wiring harness can short-circuit, potentially creating electrical issues and increasing safety risks while driving or when parked. A recall was just issued in February but my vehicle wasn't included and I'm thinking it is because most BMW owners today would not be owning a 2016 coupe which I bought in 2020 just because it was a good deal. I'm thinking no BMW owner bothered even submitting a complaint for this issue ever...just me because I'm poor and live in Miami, FL. Any help with this would be greatly a…

Car jyst shut down in the middle of the street without any dashbord lights, strange noises or symptoms. Won't turn over. After tow to BMW dealer they said oil pump broke. I took it to volvo dealer they said oil starvation. They changed design of oil pump drive but don't inform anybody to do it which is very unacceptable. And they should do recall on that. That was very dangerous situation. This oil pump very slowly desteoys without any symptoms. It's really ticking time bomb becouse they now it quietly change design.Thank you.

From 2000 through 2017, Takata produced millions of air bag inflators using two types of phase-stabilized ammonium nitrate ("PSAN") propellant -- propellant 2004 and propellant 2004L. After prolonged exposure to high temperature cycles and humidity, inflators using propellant 2004 can degrade, causing the propellant to burn too quickly when ignited. The rapid burning can cause the inflator to rupture during deployment, potentially causing serious or even fatal injury to vehicle occupants. See 20

No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
