Software Bugs result is constant loss of 'favorites' which require more attention being placed on the interface while driving to do basic tasks. A safety update released by Audi ( TSB (2062266)) but did nothing to fix the issue. This is a serious safety hazard that should be fixed.
Car alerted us to an electrical malfunction then advise us the car was shutting down and find a place to pull over immediately. Turns out that this was an alternator failure that is very common for this car. Audi and the dealership were aware of the issue but instead of proactively fixing the problem they let me get stranded on the side of a busy highway for 90 minutes while I waited for a tow truck. They should not be allowed to play Russian roulette with us driving cars with very dangerous problems.
The car displayed a Electrical System Malfunction and completely shutdown. The car will haft to be towed to AUDI service center for diagnosis. This is extremely unsafe for general operation. Their was not sufficient time to react.
I was driving my Audi on the Interstate with my husband and daughter in the vehicle when the tire blew making a loud boom. I gripped the wheel as we almost flipped the vehicle driving off the road.
The car gave an electrical error & said to stop vehicle immediately. I lost steering capabilities. I pulled over & had to wait hours for a tow. I am now being told the part is on back order with over 5000 cars waiting on an alternator. Iâve not even had the car a year. Paid well over $100k for it.
I was accelerating on the on ramp on to a major freeway (65mph limit) to merge on to traffic. As I was crossing into the left lane the car suddenly went into an electrical malfunction. All warning lights came on and I was limited to under 2k rpm when pressing on the accelerator pedal. I was forced to coast off to the right shoulder amidst heavy traffic. This was extremely dangerous as i had no power to continue moving except for the speed I had accelerated to and thankfully had enough speed to move away from traffic. The car is currently in service for several weeks. And the culprit Audi says is the 48V hybrid system that causes this shutdown. Please look into this problem as I have…

A particularly noticeable factor is the vibration of the air column in a tire. When a tire starts to vibrate because of the road contact, this can lead to cavity resonances inside the tire that are transmitted via the wheel rim and the running gear to the vehicle interior. Because of the vehicle design and due to the specific properties of different wheel and tire combinations, a whining noise can occur at high speeds. This is a result of toroidal resonance whose frequency is noticeable between 180 - 250 Hz irrespective of the vehicle speed.

Source: NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation public data (complaints, manufacturer communications, investigations), model years 2010 and later. Had a safety problem? Report it to NHTSA.
In complaints filed with NHTSA for model years 2020–2027, owners most often name: electrical system, engine, steering. 6 complaints are on record.
No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
