On [XXX], the vehicles safety systems (emergency braking, cross traffic warning, forward collision warning) failed to function allowing the vehicle to hit a cross traffic vehicle in a parking lot. The safety system failed again after the first collision allowing the vehicle to continue driving forward to hit a second parked vehicle. Details of the incident is available by Geico claim [XXX]. The safety systems failed to mitigate a human error as they were designed to do. The consequence would have been more devastating had a person instead of a vehicle crossed in front. Geico inspected the vehicle and deemed it a total loss. I have requested Audi of America to inspect the vehicle and conduct …

If the vehicle is left outside in the sun, the backup camera and/or side cameras stop working. It happens very often, but itâs unpredictable. Because if very bad read visibility, reversing in this car is impossible without the backup camera.
I had owned my car as the first owner. Within the first year of ownership, I experienced my first suspension failure. It happened when I drove my car during an off day to run some errands, driving locally at daytime with normal speeds. Mind you, here in New York, thereâs a lot of street cameras. There arenât many opportunities to go fast. During normal driving one day, I noticed a loud thump noise, but the car did not go over any potholes or hit anything of the sort which led me to be confused. So I pulled over to a nearby parking lot to see what was going on. I later then saw some error messages about the air suspension. I got out of the car to see that my car was abnormally low to the …
I have had multiple instances of brake failure while driving this car and it is to a point where I've been directed by my attorney to not drive the vehicle anymore. First instance of possible serious injury or death occurred on 1/15/2024: I brought the vehicle in to Audi of Iowa City because the brakes did not feel reliable. Several days before I brought the vehicle in, I was going 35 MPH and had the pedal all the way to the floor before it would stop. The ABS kicked on to stop the vehicle. This happened on dry pavement. There was no snow, ice, gravel, or other issues with the surface which would cause the car to not stop. Second instance of possible serious injury or death occurred …
The vehicle randomly switches from Drive to park at Stoplights without any driver input.
CAR FUNCTIONING NORMALLY. Came to a stop light. Waited for light to change. Then when I pushed the accelerator nothing happened. No movement. Had to turn on emergency flashers, power down the car completely and restart it to move. Then functioned normally. Happened four times total. Car has already been at the dealer once and had some replacement parts done to fix the issue - but now it has occurred again and they are not sure why.

A particularly noticeable factor is the vibration of the air column in a tire. When a tire starts to vibrate because of the road contact, this can lead to cavity resonances inside the tire that are transmitted via the wheel rim and the running gear to the vehicle interior. Because of the vehicle design and due to the specific properties of different wheel and tire combinations, a whining noise can occur at high speeds. This is a result of toroidal resonance whose frequency is noticeable between 180 - 250 Hz irrespective of the vehicle speed.
This bulletin provides information when there are cracks on the friction ring surface on ceramic brake discs.

No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
