What Audi Q3 owners have reported to NHTSA, the service bulletins the manufacturer sent dealers, and any federal defect investigations, by model year. See Audi Q3 safety recalls or check your VIN.
Complaints owners filed with NHTSA, by the model year of the vehicle. A high count can also mean a popular year, so compare it with how many were sold.

The vehicle systems named most often in Audi Q3 complaints (one complaint can name several).
In the owners’ own words, as filed with NHTSA. Unverified reports; NHTSA removes personal details before publishing.
The primary infotainment control modules, central gateway network loop system, and driver assistance networks failed intermittently, and the entire vehicle is fully available for physical inspection upon request. Safety was severely compromised as the main infotainment display screen suffered sudden, total blackouts while actively driving forward and reversing, causing an immediate, simultaneous loss of both the visual backup camera feed and the audible proximity safety warning beeps. This system-wide failure leaves the driver entirely blind and deaf to hazards or vehicles behind them during reverse operation. The localized electrical and module communication problems were partially reproduc…
The contact owns a 2020 Audi Q3. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V590000 (Steering); however, the part to complete the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue.
Description of Safety Failure:I am writing to report a recurring, premature safety failure of the fuel delivery system that poses an immediate risk of engine stalling at highway speeds. The original factory fuel pump failed at approximately 75,000 miles and required replacement. A brand-new replacement fuel pump has now failed prematurely just 30,000 miles later (at 114,000 total vehicle miles). This vehicle's specific failure pattern perfectly mirrors the structural vacuum, pressure regulation, and fuel pump failure modes explicitly detailed in active federal safety campaign NHTSA Recall 22V673000 (Audi Recall 20DS) regarding a damaged internal tank vent pipe. When running this vehicle's VIN …
The rear subframe broke while driving due to rust and corrosion causing the driver side rear wheel to be at an acute angle which caused the car to wobble all over the road. The car is currently not safe to drive.
I am submitting this complaint because I have experienced serious safety-related concerns involving Audi vehicles, and I am extremely concerned that these issues could result in a serious accident, injury, or loss of life. My personal vehicle is a **2024 Audi Q3**, which has experienced safety-related problems involving the braking system, wheel/speed sensors, parking recognition system, and other related vehicle safety and driver-assistance systems. I also want to report a separate and extremely serious incident involving an **Audi loaner vehicle that was provided to me by the Audi dealership while my 2024 Audi Q3 was being repaired**. While I was driving the Audi loaner vehicle, **the whee…
I was driving down the highway, roughly 60mph, when my yellow tire pressure warning light came on. The car did not feel any different while driving. I drove for another 5-10 mins when suddenly my car jerked to the left. I let off the gas and slowed to a safe spot to park. That was when I started to smell burning rubber, after I parked I got out and that was when I noticed I was riding on the rim with no tire. Tire is 255/45/R19
Vehicle is a new 2026 Audi Q3 S Line quattro with recurring electronic system failures affecting safety-related functions, beginning on or about April 11, 2026. The vehicle has repeatedly displayed âDriver assistance systems are limitedâ and related driver-assist warnings with no environmental cause (clear weather, clean windshield), indicating intermittent dropout of camera/radar-based safety systems including collision avoidance and lane assist. The digital instrument cluster â the sole speedometer display â intermittently cuts out and shows grey static, temporarily depriving the driver of speed and warning information while driving. The infotainment/compute system exhibits broader…
I am reporting a serious safety concern involving my 2017 Audi Q3 Premium Plus, VIN [XXX]. The vehicle is experiencing excessive engine oil consumption requiring frequent addition of oil. I reported the oil-consumption problem shortly after purchasing the vehicle. Audi Coral Springs recently diagnosed the vehicle and recommended substantial repairs. The dealership identified a crankcase breather/PCV condition causing oil to enter the intake system and also recommended replacement of the timing chain. The total recommended repairs are approximately $10,000. Audi's current diagnostic scan also identified multiple camshaft/timing-related engine fault codes, including P0011 (camshaft timing ove…
Repair instructions and other communications the manufacturer sent dealers about known issues. A TSB is not a recall, and the repair is usually free only while the car is under warranty; ask your dealer for the bulletin number.
This bulletin provides general information about the current tpp issues for Audi connect.
This bulletin provides information when the horn sound quality is poor.
This bulletin provides informaitn when there is a warning messsage; "Instrument cluster: fault. Limited warning messages. Please contact workshop"; DTC B200096.
This bulletin provides informaiotn when there are rattling/grinding noises reported from the front end.
A particularly noticeable factor is the vibration of the air column in a tire. When a tire starts to vibrate because of the road contact, this can lead to cavity resonances inside the tire that are transmitted via the wheel rim and the running gear to the vehicle interior. Because of the vehicle design and due to the specific properties of different wheel and tire combinations, a whining noise can occur at high speeds. This is a result of toroidal resonance whose frequency is noticeable between 180 - 250 Hz irrespective of the vehicle speed.
This bulletin provides information when there are cracks on the friction ring surface on ceramic brake discs.
This bulletin provides information when there is a wheel/tire imbalance.
This bulletin provides service information when DTC U0101000 is logged, lost communication with the TCM in diagnostic address 23.
This bulletin provides information for all models regarding brake sounds.
This bulletin provides information on the zirconium insercts in the brake piston (ceramic brakes only).
This TSB describes a corrosion issue due to outside influence and the prohibition of warranty in these cases.
This bulletin provides information when there is corrosion on the friction survace of steel brake discs.
Source: NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation public data (complaints, manufacturer communications, investigations), model years 2010 and later. Had a safety problem? Report it to NHTSA.
In complaints filed with NHTSA for model years 2010–2027, owners most often name: electrical system, engine, unknown or other. 237 complaints are on record.
No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
