The brakes on my Airstream travel trailer have malfunctioned. The brakes started to âgrabâ, and the only way I could stop the grabbing was to reduce the gain on the brake controller from 5 â 5 ½ to 3 â 3 ½. At one time in a parking lot the trailer brakes brought my entire rig to a halt after I had gently applied the brakes and then released them. I am concerned that this issue is a safety hazard. I have brought the issue up with Airstream, and they have twice tried to fix the problem. Upper lock on door will not operate resulting in an inability to open the door.
OUR OVERHEAD CABINET IN THE GALLERY AREA FELL DOWN WHILE TRAVELING. WE ARE UNSURE OF EXACTLY WHEN IT HAPPENED. THIS IS A KNOWN SERVICE BULLETIN, BUT NOT RECALL AND WE WERE NOT CONTACTED TO HAVE REPAIRED. IT WOULD HAVE SERIOUSLY INJURED A PERSON IF WE HAD BEEN IN THE CAMPER WHEN IT FELL AND WOULD HAVE CRUSHED OUR SMALL CHILDREN. WE FEEL LIKE AIRSTREAM SHOULD HAVE TO NOTIFY ALL OWNERS OF GLOBETROTTERS TO HAVE THIS REPAIRED.

Airstream has identified an operating issue with the Coleman MACH air conditioner thermostat controller on certain model year 2025 Globetrotter travel trailers.
TSB194 explains that an error in a firefly software update caused the caused the roof vent fan to operate in reverse. The TSB offers a remedy for the software error, and also lists the affected units.
The heat pump may turn on, along with the furnace, when the furnace is selected on the thermostat. The A/C control box will need to be changed out.
