To Whom It May Concern, I am reporting a recurring safety defect involving the exterior side mirrors of my vehicle. The vehicle has a driver-profile system that stores the seat and side-mirror positions. When the vehicle is unlocked, the mirrors are supposed to return to the positions saved in the driver's profile. Instead, approximately 6 out of 10 times I unlock the vehicle after it has been allowed to enter sleep mode for about 10 minutes, the side mirrors move to an incorrect and seemingly random position. Sometimes they move too far outward and other times too far inward. On some occasions, the mirror position has also changed while the vehicle was being driven. This creates a signif…

The vehicle exhibits a severe, structural inability to retain its factory suspension and steering alignment specifications under normal driving conditions, creating a severe tire blowout and safety hazard. At approximately 8,400 miles (January 2025), the dealership documented that the alignment was heavily out of specification. At approximately 9,400 miles (February 2025), a certified third-party shop corrected the vehicle back to perfect factory specifications. Less than 9,700 miles of standard city driving later, at approximately 19,100 miles (May 2026), a dealer inspection revealed the vehicle's alignment geometry had completely shifted out of specification across three separate wheels (…

As per recall notice received from Vinfast, I took my car to Service center for mandatory software upgrade on Jan 19 2026. It has been 46 days till now and I still don't have te car . Software upgrade has been having issues and all installed cameras were replaced but still software is not working as desired. While driving at approximately 8:00 AM in active traffic, the vehicle suddenly would not accelerate beyond approximately 20 mph. Warning messages appeared on the dashboard stating âElectric Motor Power Reducedâ and âDriver Monitoring System Inoperative.â The vehicle lost normal propulsion power without warning. This occurred in the middle of the roadway and created a serious safety hazard, as I was unable to maintain the speed of surrounding traffic. Vehicles behind me had to slow abruptly, increasing the risk of a rear-end collision. The vehicle is currently under warranty and has been taken to the repair facility multiple times, including for prior safety-related concerns. The mo…

No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
