The right-hand shift stalk may have an improper wire harness terminal crimp within the wire harness connector. Loss of communication between the right-hand shift stalk and the vehicle may result in the vehicle being disabled after it comes to a stop, thereby increasing the risk of crash or injury. A warning will appear on the dash display when communication is lost, including transmission or engine warnings, â!â next to DNR/DNRP indicator, â-â in the DNR/DNRP indicator, and/or chimes, depending upon whether you are operating a diesel/gas or battery electric vehicle.
Procedures are now available for Phase 1 chassis equipped with Internal Combustion Engines (ICE) and Vehicle Electronic Control Unit (VECU) part number Q21-1157-013-011 / Q21-1157-013-013. Parts and procedures for Phase 2 chassis will be available at a later date. This bulletin will be updated at that time. Please refer to the condition section for more details. Certain Ethernet Multiplexed Architecture (EMUX) chassis fail to conform to Federal and Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS/CMVSS) No. 108. Certain Model 535/536/537/548 may have an oversized magnet carrier in the throttle pedal assembly, which may cause the pedal to stick, and may increase the risk of a crash. Driver may feel sticking or that pedal does not return to idle once released. Pressing the service brake will overcome a stuck throttle pedal and allow the vehicle to stop. All affected chassis must perform a date inspection on the throttle pedal. If the date falls on or between suspect range, 08/12/2022 through 12/14/2022, throttle pedal is considered bad and will need to be replaced. Safety Recall start date: 03/27/2025
As of 03/25/2025, this campaign has resumed. Software updates are now available to complete this campaign.

0 owner complaints are on record with NHTSA.
No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
