Two defects are present simultaneously on the front passenger seating position of my 2024 Nissan Z. The passenger seat belt does not reliably latch. On several occasions the belt has released on its own while the vehicle was in motion, most frequently under hard cornering. The passenger air bag status light indicates the front passenger air bag is turned off for occupants who should not trigger suppression. My [XXX], who is [XXX], and my [XXX], who is [XXX], both sit normally in the seat with no objects under or behind them. The …

They wouldnât even come out and look at the shattered window even though it is a 2024 and still under warranty. They totally ble…

The message "Collision Detected - Pop-up Activators Deployed" was displayed. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the active-hood pop-up pyro actuators. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V798000 (Structure, Electrical System); but the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was notifie…

Source: NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation public data (complaints, manufacturer communications, investigations), model years 2010 and later. Had a safety problem? Report it to NHTSA.
In complaints filed with NHTSA for model years 2012–2026, owners most often name: structure, air bags, electrical system. 4 complaints are on record.
No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
