I leased a 2024 Maserati GranTurismo Modena, delivered December 31, 2025. Within the first four months, the vehicle has experienced four tire blowouts during normal highway driving, without impact, collision, or rim damage I provided dashcam evidence showing that the tire failures occurred under normal road conditions. Despite this, Maserati has consistently attributed the incidents to âroad hazardsâ and has offered no investigation or acknowledgment of a potential defect. Most concerning, no solution has been provided to prevent recurrence. Each failed tire has been replaced with the exact same specification, despite repeated failures, leaving an ongoing safety concern. I made multi…
The contact owns a 2024 Maserati GranTurismo. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle unexpectedly and aggressively pulled to the right while the contact was in the middle lane. There were no warning lights illuminated. While attempting to make a left turn, the contact had to abruptly depress the brake pedal to prevent the vehicle from crashing into an object. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed, and determined that the suspension had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer on several occasions for the failure, but the failure persisted. The v…
TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR SYSTEM NOT WORKING RIGHT IN MOTION OR MOVING. *TR
BLUETOOTH HANDS FREE CALLING MALFUNTION IN DASH HANDS FREE BLUETOOTH SYSTEM NOT WORKING . WILL NOT RECEIVE PHONE CALLS. WILL ERRATICALLY PRODUCE LOUD 'HISS' AND/OR 'STATIC' SOUNDS . AUDIO SYSTEM ICON ON DASH INDICATES THAT BLUETOOTH IS CONNECTED AND HAS STRONG SIGNAL CONNECTION. HAVE TRIED TO CONNECT WITH MULTIPLE CELLULAR DEVICES WITH SAME RESULT. DEALERSHIP ATTEMPTED TO SERVICE . STATED MASERATI NORTH AMERICA IS AWARE OF A WIDESPREAD ISSUE, AND THEY CURRENTLY DO NOT HAVE A CORRECTIVE ACTION TO FIX. I BELIEVE THIS A MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN AND IT'S UNSAFE TO USE A WIRELESS PHONE WHILE DRIVING , IN ADDITION TO IT BEING ILLEGAL IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA . THE DISTRACTION ON …
HI I HAVE A 2013 GRANDTURISMO WITH 10700MILES ON IT AND WAS INVOLVED IN CAR ACCIDENT EARLIER TODAY WHERE THE GAS PEDAL WAS STUCK AND CAR KEPT ACCELERATING DESPITE TAKING MY FOOT OFF THE GAS PEDAL. I WAS ABLE TO HIT THE BRAKES BUT ENDED UP GETTING IN AN ACCIDENT. I GOOGLED THIS PROBLEM AND CAME ACROSS SEVERAL COMPLAINTS REGARDING THIS PROBLEM AND NOTICED SOME RECALLS REGARDING SOME MASERATI MODELS. REGARDS
2 SEPARATE INCIDENTS, FIRST OCCURRING ON JULY 12, UPON ENTERING CAR, AFTER DRIVING VEHICLE DURING DAY, IT LOCKED UP, WOULD NOT ALLOW KEY TO BE EXTRACTED, WOULD NOT START, VARIOUS LIGHTS ON DASH INDICATING MAJOR PROBLEMS. ENGINE LIGHT, CAR THEFT LIGHT. PROBLEM RESOLVED AFTER RESETTING KEY WITH LOCK/UNLOCK. TAKEN TO DEALER, TOLD NOTHING WAS WRONG. ON JULY 30, WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE, IT STALLED AND STOPPED WHILE IT WAS IN MOTION. NO POWER STEERING OR POWER BRAKES, DIFFICULT TO MANUVER TO SIDE OF THE ROAD. FORTUNATELY I WAS TRAVELLING AT A LOW RATE OF SPEED, OTHERWISE THERE COULD HAVE BEEN A SERIOUS ACCIDENT. CAR TAKEN TO DEALER, AWAITING DETAILS OF PROBLEM. VERY CONCERNING ISSUE, OF STALLING WH…
THIS WAS MY 8TH BLOWOUT THIS YEAR. I WAS DRIVING WITHIN THE SPEED LIMIT ON NORMAL HIGHWAY CONDITIONS. THE SLIGHTEST BUMP IN THE ROAD CAUSES THE TIRES TO BLOW OUT. I LOST CONTROL OF THE CAR AND WAS ABLE TO PULL TO THE SIDE. THESE TIRES ARE OUTRIGHT DANGEROUS ON THESE WHEELS THAT ARE STOCK WITH THE VEHICLE. *TR
I WAS STOPPING FOR A RED LIGHT AND NOTICED THAT THE CAR WAS NOT STOPPING NORMALLY. I REALIZED THAT PART OF MY SHOE WAS STILL ON THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WHEN I INTENDED IT TO BE ONLY ON THE BRAKE. THIS HAPPENED TO ME SEVERAL TIMES SINCE. I NOTICED THAT THE BRAKE PEDAL AND ACCELERATOR PEDAL ARE EXACTLY IN LINE WITH EACH OTHER AND VERY CLOSE TOGETHER. EVERY OTHER CAR I HAVE EVER DRIVEN HAD AN OFFSET BETWEEN THE BRAKE AND ACCELERATOR TO PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING. I CONTACTED MASERATI BUT THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT TOLD ME THAT EVERY GRANTURISMO IS DESIGNED THIS WAY AND THEY WOULD NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. I CONSIDER THIS A VERY DANGEROUS DESIGN DEFECT THAT COULD EASILY ALLOW INADVER…
Repair instructions and other communications the manufacturer sent dealers about known issues. A TSB is not a recall, and the repair is usually free only while the car is under warranty; ask your dealer for the bulletin number.
The Maserati MY27 model range has been updated with a refreshed product offering. GranTurismo and GranCabrio internal combustion variants will be available with two V6 configurations: a 490 hp version and the new 590 hp Trofeo. The Folgore variants gain increased driving range through a new device that automatically switches between all-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive based on driving conditions and requirements.
Certain Maserati vehicles listed in MODISCS+ are involved in a Rapid Update to perform a PROXI alignment. During production, certain new model year vehicles were configured with parameters for a previous tire specification. This may cause incorrect AWD system management and illuminate the AWD System Overheated warning lamp. The warning does not indicate an AWD system malfunction; it results only from an incorrect vehicle configuration parameter. AWD system performance and functionality are not affected.
GranTurismo and GranCabrio - Unexpected Alarm Activation . In case of unexpected alarm activation, proceed with software updates to the BCM ECU, with Software Number F188 670363089 ROW. In order to obtain the compatibility of this SW and to complete all the necessary steps and procedures with MDEVO, it is mandatory to open a BOL as Support Request. After updating the software to the version mentioned above, perform the BCM procedure 'BCM Initialization.
To support an accurate battery health assessment and successful certificate generation, all prerequisites below must be completed before submitting the request. Dealers should verify the applicable software campaign status, explain the self-learning cycle to the customer, and confirm the required waiting period has elapsed.
Due to a software anomaly, the BPCM may not correctly evaluate the battery State of Health (SOH) on some vehicles. This may result in charging limitations and/or an inaccurate estimate of the remaining driving range. These conditions may display incorrect information to the customer and affect the customer's perception of the vehicle's reliability. This service campaign is intended to ensure proper operation of the battery management system.
Certain Maserati vehicles listed in MODISCS+ are involved in a Rapid Update to install a heat shield on the ELSD connector (Electronic Limited Slip Differential). On some vehicles, the heat shield for the ELSD connector (Electronic Limited Slip Differential) may not have been installed during production. If the heat shield is missing, elevated temperatures in the surrounding area may cause component malfunction.

Source: NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation public data (complaints, manufacturer communications, investigations), model years 2010 and later. Had a safety problem? Report it to NHTSA.
In complaints filed with NHTSA for model years 2010–2027, owners most often name: unknown or other, electrical system, wheels. 8 complaints are on record.
No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
