Brake Master Cylinder need to be replaced due to internal malfunction. If not replaced, the master cylinder may fail and I could face a safety issue in the form of brake pedal or brake failure. The problem has been confirmed by Lexus Southwest Houston who performed diagnostic and found code C1391 to be present. The dealer cannot initiate goodwill request regarding an expired CSP despite my low mileage. I called Lexus and open a case. The case manager confirmed the code was present with the dealership who perform the diagnosis. Case manager denied goodwill based strictly on calendar expiration date of the CSP despite low mileage at 60% of the CSP allowance of 150k. I was given no option to es…
The latest incidence happened in [XXX] of city [XXX] on XXX. The engine intermittently stalls automatically after I backed up in Reverse for a very short distance. The engine was still running but the car was locked, and red warning lights appear. I had to turn the engine off and restart it to move the car. The same incidence happened several times before. When it happened, there were no persons or cars behind at all. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
When i open the trunk of my 2022 Lexus ES 350 vehicle, the lid pop out and bounce back, hitting my head and causing a minor concussion and bleeding on my forehead; I believe the trunk strut was malfunctioned
Not sure if I have the right things checked. Starting about december 2022 i experienced the car "lunging" forward upon putting the car into drive, After having backed out of a parking space. It continued to do this off and on even through today. It seems to do it most after the car has been sitting for a good length of time.Perhaps overnight, or while i've been in a shopping mall 2-3 hours. I have four invoice tickets from the lexus dealer where I brought the car in specifically for this problem. They had someone to drive it with me in the car, and of course we were not able to duplicate it at that time. I left the car with them for 3 days on one occasion. And when I returned, they said they…
The âmaintenance requiredâ warning light came on. The Lexus dealer indicated that a tire rotation was required at a cost of approximately $100. We had the tires rotated at a tire store at a cost of zero ($.00). The Lexus dealer service department refused to turn off the âmaintenance requiredâ warning, safety light because that dealer did not perform the tire rotation. If there is something wrong with the car, we wonât receive that vital information until the warning light has been reset. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERN. Apparently, only a Lexus dealerâs service department can reset the warning safety light and there is an inspection fee charged for them to reset…
The contact purchased a 2014 Lexus ES 350. It was discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy. The vehicle was a dealer sale. The contact stated that the mileage on the title was 130,739. At the time of purchase, the vehicle mileage was 138,000. However, the Carfax report indicated that the mileage was 241,759.
on the front dashboard there is a lot of oil deposit which is from the dashboard material which is reflective and sticky, this oil deposit reflects on the windshield and is making visibility hard when driving in sunlight... i have reached out to the Lexus corporate and they have indicated that the recall is over (even though i never got the recall notice. This is happening to other drivers with the same model as well.
On or July 28, 2026, I experienced a safety incident involving the driverâs side power window on my 2021 Lexus ES. The vehicle was running, and I reached through the driverâs side window to retrieve an item being handed to me. Without me pressing or activating the window switch, the driverâs window unexpectedly quickly closed on my arm. It trapped my right forearm. I could not get my arm out for several minutes and attempted to open the window with both the switch and manually using all my force from my upper body to try to free my right arm. The associate also tried to push the window back open but it would not budge. I had also tried opened the driverâs door to see if that would ca…
Repair instructions and other communications the manufacturer sent dealers about known issues. A TSB is not a recall, and the repair is usually free only while the car is under warranty; ask your dealer for the bulletin number.
Under certain conditions, debris can accumulate inside the fuel cap causing potential fuel vapor leaks that can cause increased evaporative emissions to exceed the regulated limits. This issue will not trigger the M.I.L. (Malfunction Indicator Lamp).
A battery in a stored vehicle is subject to conditions that can reduce its performance and service life. These conditions include storage period, temperature, parasitic drain, and battery load. Because of these factors, battery inspection and maintenance are required to ensure proper operation and optimal battery life.
During the manufacturing process, tires are mounted on the vehicle as matched sets to help reduce conditions such as pulling or drifting. If the wheels are replaced or refinished before vehicle delivery, it is important that the tires remain on the vehicle in the same location and in the same direction of rotation.

Long-term or off-site storage requires special care to maintain vehicle condition. The following guidelines should be implemented to minimize vehicle component/part degradation due to extended vehicle storage conditions. Long-term storage can affect a vehicleâs systems and components. Any problems that are found should be corrected immediately.

No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
