What Lamborghini Urus owners have reported to NHTSA, the service bulletins the manufacturer sent dealers, and any federal defect investigations, by model year. See Lamborghini Urus safety recalls or check your VIN.
Complaints owners filed with NHTSA, by the model year of the vehicle. A high count can also mean a popular year, so compare it with how many were sold.

The windshield on my 2024 Lamborghini Urus was replaced approximately two months ago. There was no accident, stone impact, or other external force. While the vehicle was being used normally, the newly installed windshield cracked unexpectedly. I am concerned this may be due to defective glass, improper installation, or installation stress, and that it may present a safety risk.
The vehicle experiences a significant reduction in braking effectiveness when driven in rainy conditions, particularly during heavy rain. Brake response becomes inconsistent and unpredictable, requiring the driver to continually vary brake-pedal pressure in order to achieve the expected level of deceleration. The condition can result in substantially increased stopping distances and creates a serious risk of collision. The issue is intermittent and appears to be directly related to wet-weather operation. I am requesting investigation of the braking system, including the transition between regenerative and friction braking, brake-control software, sensors, and any other related components or…
The contact owns a 2019 Lamborghini Urus. The contact stated that there was a strong fuel odor coming from the vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the garage. The contact stated that days later, the tire was flat, and while being loaded on a flatbed tow truck, the contact became aware of gasoline leaking from the fuel tank on the rear passenger's side of the vehicle. The contact then became aware of a second fuel leak on the front passenger's side of the vehicle. The contactâs infant son was occupying the rear passenger's side seat, near the fuel tank and the exhaust system insulation. The contact stated that the fuel leak had stopped after the vehicle was on flat ground; however, upon…
Had air bubbles. Showed it to the dealership in May 2023. They refused to fix it and blamed it on the PPF. Fast forward March 2024, theyâre like itâs a recall now and weâre going to take care of you. Bobs random body and paint shop that does Teslas repainted my new hood that Lambo approved. Guess what, Iâm in LA and thereâs 1,000 other better shops but looks like itâs Lambo that chose the cheapest shop. A month after the new hood and guess what, ppf is peeling and the hoods bubbled again. This time WORSE! The ppf they chose definitely wasnât the same nor close to the one I paid $25k to ppf the car. I emailed Nick Cardoni, Rene Suelztner, Andrea Baldi and Stephan Winkelmann. No …
On a cold start, when I press the brake and the start button on my vehicle, the vehicle does not turn on it. It takes anywhere between 7-10 tries before the vehicle wants to turn on. I have taken the vehicle to the manufacturerâs service center and have called the manufacturer multiple times and they donât want to recognize it is an issue. Iâve showed them multiple video evidence of the issue and they donât want to acknowledge that the vehicle has a problem.
Repair instructions and other communications the manufacturer sent dealers about known issues. A TSB is not a recall, and the repair is usually free only while the car is under warranty; ask your dealer for the bulletin number.
Due to possible porosity in the transmission, Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. is launching a pre-delivery campaign for the inspection of potential affected transmission on a specific batch of new vehicles.
Automobili Lamborghini identified a visual imperfection in the panoramic roof gasket, therefore this technical bulletin aim is to correct a cosmetic issue on certain URUS MY25.
Due to the installation of a non-appropriate fixing clip on the rear sport differential harness, it is possible that it gets loose and comes into contact with the driveshaft. In case of the mentioned cable gets damaged, the signal for the sport differential may be cut and instead of having an electronic guided sport differential with specific functions, the system goes into recovery, with specific pop-up to alert the driver, but the traditional mechanical differential continues to work normally. Therefore there is no influence in the handling or acceleration/braking, only the more sport-like s
Due to a software bug the "Safe CP" (Component Protection) warnings can randomly appear in the dashboard even if only authorized components are installed. The update will install an update eliminating the bug.
Automobili Lamborghini was informed by supplier Continental that a number of air bag ECUs were manufactured with a quality issue where a delay in the sensor time response can cause self diagnosis fail at key-on, with consequent Mil on. There is no impact on safety as all functions are guaranteed. However a false-positive air bag light on may affect customer perception. A total of 2 (two) vehicles of MY25 were sold in US with ECUs identified in the supplier's list.
It was determined that some on-board diagnostic (OBD) functions do not fully meet certain regulatory requirements. The MIL may not illuminate when a misfire event occurs. This issue has no impact to tail-pipe or evaporative emissions. It is necessary to update the engine control module (ECM) software. This Service action has been agreed with CARB.
During a production step in factory the software of boot loader of HV battery management have been not been properly updated to the latest version, causing a misalignment between Cal ID and CVN. There is no impact on functionality, however CAL ID and CVN are homologation relevant information and should be aligned according to the vehicle certification documents.
As a result of continuous product monitoring, Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. has detected that in some cases it is temporary not possible to engage gears or the steering warning light is ON due to communication faults on gearbox flexray line.
Lamborghini information regarding Connect Vehicle Tracking System activation.
As a result of continuous product monitoring, Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. would like to analyse an exact right front wheel hub from a specific batch of production.
Lamborghini information to the field for identifying the correct tires to be installed in Lamborghini vehicles.
Lamborghini informs that the use of the "SVM Specified Actual Comparison" function present in ODIS Service is not necessary for Urus vehicles since its execution may lead to an incorrect configuration of the control units present in the car.
Source: NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation public data (complaints, manufacturer communications, investigations), model years 2010 and later. Had a safety problem? Report it to NHTSA.
In complaints filed with NHTSA for model years 2019–2026, owners most often name: electrical system, engine, fuel system, gasoline. 5 complaints are on record.
No. A complaint is an unverified report from an owner. A technical service bulletin (TSB) is the manufacturer telling dealers how to fix a known issue; it is not a safety recall and is usually covered only under warranty. A recall is a formal safety action, and its repair is free.
File a vehicle safety complaint at NHTSA.gov. NHTSA reads every report, and patterns of complaints are what open defect investigations and, eventually, recalls.
